Awesome Vacation

This was one of the best all inclusive we have stayed at. From the time you walk in to the time you leave, you are truly on vacation. The customer service from everyone is top notch. The beach was beautiful and well kept. The restaurants were all good. A++ to the Italian restaurant, the lasagna was the best we have ever had. The rooms were clean and exactly as described. We will be returning.

Bovaro Princess Resort vacation

First of all, we were upgraded from Princess Punta Cana to Bavaro Princess Resort, because of Caribbean storm, which had a place 2 day prior of our arrival. All lower places of resort have been flooded, so the moving from the main lobby to our site near the beach was convenient by the shuttle only. 1. Food. The resort has 7 restaurants, 5 of them are working for dinner only. For the future guest I would recommend to use the buffet in the main lobby for the breakfast, so that it is clean and has a variety of food choices. Unfortunately, the beach buffet doesn't have all these variety. I visited a couple restaurants and had different experience from each of them. The good thing was that fact, that as a platinum member, I could eat at any restaurants of the Bavaro and Princess of Punta Cana. I would strongly not recommend to go the the Lobster Dinner (for platinum members only it's free) at Bavaro, so that the lobsters are local, very old and was tasted like a pork. The best restaurant of resort is Japanese (Tanuka), where each guest could enjoy of master class of the Caribbean Cook, who works like a professional Japanese Cook. Unfortunately, you have to spend a half hour of waiting time to get in. 2. Drinks. The best part of the resort was the variety of provided alcohol and drinks. Vodka was presented by Absolute, Stolichnaya and Smirnoff, The cognac was Napoleon and some local (don't remember the name), but very good one. There are a lot of bars around the resort, where you can order any international drink, including scotch, whiskey table red and white vines. The platinum lounge has a great coffee machine, where you can enjoy 12 types of coffee, including espresso and cappuccino. I forgot to mention that there was a full refrigerator of drinks in the room which was refilled by beer, water and drinks every day. 3. Sport activity. I liked the ocean and beach, unfortunately, Bovaro Beach has a lot of Reefs, but they are deep enough to reach them. For swimmers, I would recommend to swim early in the morning (I swam 2 miles to the ocean) to avoid any problems with boats, catamarans and another water equipment which were a lot all around. As a platinum member I had a free rides on catamarans and was enjoying of riding it every day. Also, the resort has free bicycle 30 minutes tours, but because of flooding I didn't see a lot of riders. As a platinum member I got a voucher for 20 minutes of complimentary massage, which was nice and relaxing. 4. Entertainment. Unfortunately, the entertainment was very pure, so that the staff mostly speaks Spanish only and all activities are for Spanish speaking people only. I attended one beach party, which lasted for a couple hours. Please be advised, I would not recommend to keep an expensive stuff with you so that, if you lost your belongings, I doubt if you would be able to find them. (my friend left his bag with very expensive camera, phone and valet with money near the table after the beach party and we spent a couple hours in the next morning to find it, but without any success. No one from security staff has reported to the guest service.) Finally, I was satisfied of my stay at this resort and would definitely attend it in the future. The only negative feelings are from the communication with the staff (80% of them doesn't speak English at all).

4th Vacation to Punta Cana

This was our 4th visit to Punta Cana and we have stayed at different resorts each time. The Punta Cana Princess was a very nice resort with lush landscape, better than average food choices and great beach and pool. However, there were some issues. Every time we left our room the electric went off or something as the clock reset to 12:00 and my husbands CPAP machine went off. Talked to the front desk about this but nothing was done even after explaining about the CPAP machine being a medical device. Asked for a plastic table for the balcony on day 1 and was told "later" but it never came. One evening there was no hot water in the shower. Although I believe the issue was being addressed, there were some "bug" issues. Overall, it was a pretty resort and we had a great time. I would not rate this among the top that we have been to nor would we return to this resort.

Tropical Paradise for a Steal!

We had a blast and for the price it was incredible. We were greeted with tropical drinks at check-in and the staff was friendly and very nice. The immediate view is gorgeous with palm trees and greenery. It was a short walk to our room which was exactly as pictured online. There was a huge glass shower, a large roman tub and a king size bed. The walk to the pool and beach are beautiful with tropical flowers everywhere. There are multiple bars and drinks are brought to you both at the pool and beach if you don't want to get up and walk to get your drinks. The buffet was yummy and pretty much what you would expect. We ate at two different restaurants on the property. The fondue was the best. We had access to the neighboring resort where we ate at a Brazilian steakhouse which was by far the best food of the entire trip. All drinks and food were included at both our resort and next door. There are day beds at both at the beach and pool which we took full advantage of for napping. The beach was pristine and clean; white sands and turquoise water just as we'd hope. The entertainment crew was hilarious and we enjoyed the numerous shows and incredibly silly games throughout the weekend. The place was really loud at night as a show was put-on until midnight each evening; however with drinks and enough sun we were out with no problem. Overall it was a dream come true.

The Punta Cana Princess is a hotel that knows no limits when it comes to beauty and rests on a pristine white sand beach. The beach boasts a mini spa section with its own Jacuzzi and a sauna right on the sand! When sand's not your game, snag a sun lounger poolside at the on-site freshwater pool or at any of the other three pools in the Princess resort complex.

With five on-site dining options, the hotel offers guests delectable choices when it comes to dinner. Opt for the a la carte seafood fare of Mare Nostrum, Tex-Mex steak at Rio Grande or elegant Swiss delicacies at Le Petite Fondue. Areito Discotheque offers free admission for all guests looking to shake their tail-feathers late into the evening, and a casino offers thrills even later. Live entertainment is also available at a number of on-site venues.

Sporty visitors enjoy sighting up a bull's-eye on the archery range or vying for match point on one of two tennis courts. If active relaxation is more what you had in mind, Metamorphosis Spa offers sensory nirvana with a variety of treatments, including hydromassage.

Retiring to a Platinum Suite can be its own adventure with a private balcony, premium-brand liquors in your room and nightly turndown service. An extra touch of island class greets guests upon arrival, too--a fruit basket and cigars are waiting to welcome you to paradise.
