Nicely appointed, the hotel has all of the modern conveniences of a first class hotel including 436 ft. of private beach, a large heated swimming pool with wading section, Jacuzzi, in-house professional putting green, beach volleyball and tennis courts, two bars, two full service restaurants and a meeting room (80 people). Although it's ideal for strolling, sunbathing, and snoozing, the resort's beach is not safe for swimming because of rocks and powerful undertows.

Your first impression at the Posada Real Los Cabos will be a very nice marble floor lobby, with central air-conditioning and casual wicker furniture where you will be received by our friendly bilingual personnel, ready to assist you in any way possible.

After you check-in, stop by the El Dorado Lobby Bar. A traditional meeting place in San Jose where the size of the catch of the day of our fishermen guests grows larger and larger as they savor the incomparable margaritas of Chuy, our Internationally famous bartender. The El Dorado is air-conditioned and opens at noon until the wee wee hours.

Next to our lobby we have a commercial area where you would find a mini-supermarket, souvenir shop, car rental, and Victor's, the renown fishing pro shop.

For nature lovers...The area has a unique natural beauty, unspoiled beaches and breathtaking vistas. During the winter months, tourists can observe the passage of Grey whales on they journey to their breeding grounds in the Sea of Cortez. Boat excursions, to view them close range, are available. The San Jose Estuary, just a few blocks away from the Posada Real Los Cabos hotel, is a favorite spot to watch a variety of bird species as they make a stopover on their journey South.

The socially oriented will love the friendly and casual atmosphere of sleepy San Jose where you can visit the San Jose Mission, built by the Spaniard in 1735, shop, dine or dance at one of the many typical shops or cafes.

A visit to San Lucas is a mere 20-minute drive away, through a scenic road called the "Corridor". Along the way you will pass through the various golf club developments, public beaches, restaurants and other tourist attractions.

THE CACTUS RESTAURANT - Casual and relaxing during the daytime, romantic during the evening, the Cactus restaurant offers two different ambients that will surely please everyone: an indoor air-conditioned saloon and a lovely adjoining terrace with a view of the central court yard cactus gardens and the ocean. Open all day long for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Serves delicious International cuisine ranging from the soup of the day, the quick sandwich and the light salad or pasta, to delightful fish, meat and fowl platters. A variety of beers, wines and deserts to go along.

WAHOO POOLSIDE TACO & RESTAURANT - Located at poolside, it's the best whale watching spot in town. Has a wet and dry bar that serves our guests their favorite cocktail while at the bar, in the pool or in the beach area. For your convenience and delight you can enjoy fresh ceviche, guacamole, fish tacos, fajitas, a light salad and many other selections with your favorite beer in the comfort of your beach attire, under the shade of a coconut tree in one of our convenient poolside tables.

A mere 15-minute drive from the airport, the Posada Real Los Cabos hotel has an extraordinary beachfront (non-swimmable beach) location across the street from the San Jose golf course, at the very center of the hotel zone. You will be within walking distance from lovely downtown San Jose and no more than a 15 minute drive from the famous Palmilla, Cabo Real and Cabo del Sol golf courses.
