Paradisus Punta Cana Resort: Prepare to be Spoiled in Paradise

It takes a certain amount of courage to call a resort "paradise." Unless, of course, it's the truth. Standing on Bavaro Beach's pristine, white sands, a tropical sea breeze at your back, you can't help but gaze at the sweeping coconut palms, thatched-bungalow suites nestled in lush tropical gardens, picturesque lake and conclude: Paradisus Punta Cana Resort is, indeed, paradise.

Parents have no worries for children aged 1-12 inside the garden walls of the nearly 11,000-sq-ft play area. Featuring brand-new facilities, including a painting area, a 5.1-Surround-Sound cinema for nightly movies, a mini-water park and Jungle Gym, kids of all ages have more than enough to keep them busy from dawn 'til dusk. Parents love the luxury of having walkie-talkies, so they can easily check-in with the certified personnel minding their kids. Even after the Kid's Club closes, babysitting services are available for a date night with your spouse.

And while the family is tucked quietly and safely away in their little home-away-from home, the adults-only side of Paradisus Punta Cana Resort is just getting started. Race to the top of the climbing wall, vie for match point on one of the four available tennis courts, catch a dive excursion to explore the intricacies of a coral reef or hop on horseback to take in the natural surroundings of the island. Location

Located 35 minutes from Punta Cana Airport and 1.5 hours from La Romana Airport.

Plaza Bavaro (shopping) is five-minute walk. A new shopping center, Palma Real Shopping Village, has recently opened with great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Stores include everything from cigars, clothing, gifts, jewelry and more. There is even a Hard Rock Cafe and a Tony Roma's. A shuttle bus runs every 2 hours from the resort. 

Manati Park (eco-park, with dolphin encounters) is 15 minutes away.

Bars

Bars are found throughout the resort and include the lobby bar, the swim-up pool bar, the Royal Service pool bar and those in several of the location's restaurants. The Royal Service pool bar and Gabi Club Bar and Lounge are exclusively for guests who are registered under the Royal Service or Reserve programs.

All bars open at 9am and close at midnight.

Red Lounge Bar

The Red Lounge Bar is open daily 9am-midnight. On disco nights, the bar stays open until 3am.

Honeymoon Bonus
