Wonderful anniversary trip

We stayed at the Paradisus Palma Real July 2017 for our 25th anniversary. We did reserve the Royal Service and were not disappointed. Royal Service will give you the benefit of a VIP lounge, restaurant and "butler" and the Royal Service adult pool/bar - - it was well worth it. The resort is beautiful, well-appointed and the staff was very attentive, kind and helpful. Our butler, Miguel, was hands-down THE BEST! Please request him! Wanda and Francisco at the Royal Service Bar were wonderful and always made our afternoons even better with the Wanda's special of the day! The Royal Service restaurant, The Palazzo had fabulous breakfast, lunch and dinners. Fatima, Felix, Miguel and Richard were always there to make sure our experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this resort, you won't be disappointed!

Excellent

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed ourselves at Paridesis Palma Real. We didn't really care for the restaurants within the resort. We actually loved eating the buffet. Everything we had from the buffet was really really good. The pool/pools were very large and didn't seem crowded at all. We loved the room we had that was located in the royalty side of the resort. We enjoyed the room service option twice while there and didn't take long to get our order to us either. The only downside of the beach is there are guys that stand next to the water and yell up at you to buy whatever they are selling. Also there are some that walk around trying to sell stuff while lounging in the chairs on the beach so that wasn't a relaxing experience. They kept our room stocked with the toiletries and towels. The con is that they don't have wash clothes you get a loofah. If you decide to go on some excursions the way is Jefferey Sosa with Amstar. He is amazing! Very honest. I recommend Scape Park to do Horsebavk riding, zip lining, and jump into the Blue Hole with beautiful crystal clear water. Also, I recommend the VIP Snorkeling excursion.

July 2017 Stay at Paradisus Palma Real

Overall experience was wonderful. When you arrive you are greeted by a beautiful resort. Stunning. Very clean. We traveled to and from the airport with ease using Amstar transportation booked through Cheap Caribbean all went very smoothly. Best things about the resort. Food and service at the restaurants we went to were really good. We could have skipped the buffet at the beach. Too much wind and food was just ok, although my husband did enjoy the goat. We were provided a Concierge Vladimir who provided us with anything we asked for from ensuring extra towels were placed in our rooms to booking our transportation home. Stella! Grounds are breathtaking. Clean and well taken care of. Its a huge resort but nothing you should complain about. It never felt crowded. Not so nice things about the resort- We had to remind Housekeeping to leave wash clothes in our rooms ever day. My Concierge had to call them everyday to tell them to come back as they failed to leave them. Our fan light did not work in the room. Our sliding glass balcony doors were broken, lights in the bathroom were not working. Although i am told there is a checklist for housekeeping it is obvious it does not work. At the buffet area the tables are not cleaned up and prepared for the next guests fast enough. Often you go to a table with a missing coffee cup, napkin or even a fork. Very odd. If you like the Beach/Ocean not sure this is the place for you. There is a lot of seaweed. When i say seaweed i mean 10 feet wide before you enter the ocean. It is floating everywhere. They do their best to clean everyday; however, its just not enough for me to go in for a swim. On the other hand the pool area is stunning, clean and very large.

GO TO PARADISUS FOR A FUN YET RELAXING TIME!

I was here for a destination wedding this July and had an amazing time. The resort is family friendly, lots of dining options, fun bar scene and great pools. We were right on the beach and the staff was very accommodating. You definitely get your money's worth at the Paradisus! The only thing I wish I got to experience more of were the restaurants. Because the restaurants only hold a certain amount of people, it can be very difficult to get a reservation. Would be smart to book restaurants for the duration of your time there upon arrival.

What's to Love

All-inclusive everything: the cocktails, the grub, the utter luxuriousness of it all.

The adults-only Royal Service (boutique hotel w/in the resort) with a private pool & Bali beds.

Releasing your kiddos to the 7,800 sq. ft. Kids Zone with a climbing wall, trampolines and more.

The stress-ousting treatments at the spa and the uber-relaxing water ritual area with sauna/steam.

Getting your killer workout on during the salsa, bachata and merengue classes.

The AAA 4-Diamond restaurant, Passion, with the world-renowned chef, Martin Berasatgui.

What We'd Change

It's true that the resort is pretty spread-out and requires a good bit of walking. But the landscaping is lush and extra space means crowding is not an issue.

Why You Should Go

Only 25 minutes from the airport so you'll be hunkering down with a chilly cocktail in a flash.

Free greens fees at Cocotal Golf and Country Club. Subject to availability. Cart fees apply.

Wave after wave of water sports. Everything from sailing to windsurfing to kayaking. Dive in.

For some fun on dry land, you can hit the tennis courts, or take it down a notch with paddle ball.

Expect epic entertainment - there are workshops, sports and leisure activities out the wazoo.
