AMAZING vacation
I am a person who makes my rounds of the all inclusives in the Caribbean, this place was amazing. The service was amazing, the grounds were amazing.... only issue I would say needs some attention are the dining options. But when I go on an all inclusive vacation to the Caribbean the quality of the food, as long as it's edible is not my primary concern.
Quid quo Pro.4 amentiites must hear timeshare ptch
Beautiful resort. The Food was very good overall. However, very pushy with getting you to the timeshare pitch and then not letting you go. Quid quo pro that if you want you're desired restaurants and times then you have to make this timeshare appointment even when tipping you're personal conceirge or "time-share wrangler" big. I hate feeling heavily pressured when I already spent a lot of money to relax and enjoy our honeymoon.
I visited the Paradisus Palma Real with my mother (50's) and sister (20's). I am also in my 20's. The hotel grounds are beautiful and we really loved the pool. The hotel was extremely relaxed and very quiet - a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. However, that also came with some problems, i.e., slow service, certain areas of the hotel shut down etc. If you are flexible and just want a relaxing vacation that is a good value then I would definitely recommend this hotel. If you are looking for impecable service and lots of nightlife/action, this is not the place for you. The food at the restaurants was great but the food at the lunch buffet was not very good. The bartenders are wonderful and very friendly.
The Paradisus Palma Real was an absolutely astonishing experience. The room was immaculate and the service staff was unbelievably courteous and well-trained. I have a slight walking mobility issue and within 1 minute of finding out about it, our room was moved to one right off the lobby on the main area where I would walk the least number of steps. The first day, a hotel maintenance guy overheard that I was looking for an elevator and he stopped what he was doing to escort us. Big smile and wouldn't even take a tip!
The pool and amenities were again, fabulous. The staff was so wonderful. We enjoyed both taking it easy and taking part in a number of included activities--we felt like we the only ones there!
The only thing that was not as remarkable was the food. Don't get me wrong--it was very good, just not proportionally incredible as the facilities and staff. That's fine! We managed to get through the week without falling into culinary depravity. However, I will say that the all inclusive drinks were top shelf liquors in abundance. There was always someone asking if we needed another.
There's no doubt that we'll be back. It was an incredible value and a memorable experience. Thanks.

You may book any of our all-inclusive properties either as a land/air package or as resort only. Booking as a resort only reservation still allows you to take advantage of the resort's all inclusive package, for example, all meals, beverages and gratuities included as well as many other amenities. One thing to keep in mind, however, is that when you book a land/air package the resort part of that package is discounted considerably more than when booking a resort only trip. You may book a trip using one of our experienced Destination Specialists or when booking online you may price out a land package on our website by selecting the Hotel Only tab in the orange Create Your Own Vacation box.

554 oversized suites are comfortable inviting, impeccably designed and distinctively appointed. Each suite is equipped with a jacuzzi for 2, hair dryer, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite flat-screen TV, DVD Player, CD Player, high-speed internet ($), mini bar, coffee maker, 24 hour room service, iron and ironing board, in-room safe and balcony or terrace."
The property has an amazing swimming pool complete with in built hot tubs, and the beds and pillows that are on the beach.
What We'd Change
The a la carte restaurants, which are excellent, need reservations, so book early.
Why You Should Go
The property suits couples and families and is very spreadout so you'll never feel crowded. The property has different mood music playing throughout which really adds to the atmosphere. I would pay extra for the Royal Service section where you really get pampered with a private pool area and beds, and even your own Royal Service restaurant.
