VERY NICE STAY

The lush gardens around the hotel buildings and pools made this vacation seem more exotic. No elevators, and we were on the 3rd floor, so got some good exercise as well. The staff were all very accommodating. Would recomend it to my friends.

412 guestrooms in three, three-story buildings (no elevators). Headboards are sculpted into walls, marble nightstands and desks extend from walls, tiled floors, hues of mango and cinnamon. Rooms and suites are only available in the All-Inclusive Plan. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, balcony, cable TV, coffee maker, hair dryer, mini bar, in-room safe, telephone and iron with ironing board."

This little piece of paradise is cut right out of the jungle at the sea's edge. Lots to do here: great pools, lots of activity, nightly entertainment all on a great stretch of beach. There's even a small zoo on the grounds. There are plenty of dining options here too. Make sure not to miss the Italian restaurant.

It is about an hour from downtown Puerto Vallarta. There is so much to do on property and it is a great escape you might find you never want to leave. If you do choose to venture into town there are cabs available in the motor lobby.

A great place to get away from it all or do everything imaginable on vacation.

Vividly colored in blue, pink, champagne, white and accented with red-tile and thatched roofs, the 412-room Palladium Vallarta Resort is surrounded by jungle and contains dense botanical gardens. Activities begin in the morning with stretching and aerobics and continue with dance classes, games, and athletic contests. The activities culminate with shows by the staff in an open-air theater. On Saturdays there's a beach party. Other nights the disco nightclub remains open for dancing and drinks until 2 AM.

Each side of the resort includes a hammock area, and there's open-air massage near the adult pool. Under a conical palapa near two tennis courts is a fully equipped, mirrored fitness center. Children have their own air-conditioned club flanked by both sand and lawn playgrounds.

Although Palladium Vallarta is an active resort, its spaciousness and botanical gardens create a restful atmosphere, exemplified by the long paths shaded by thatched roofs connecting buildings. Strolling these paths, and those through the gardens, is a soothing experience. More tranquility can be found around an adults-only pool.

Located on a bluff well away from activities, the round, 40-foot-diameter adults pool includes a 10-foot-diameter jet-spa section. The main pool complex consists of a large family pool; a large, round children's pool; and a toddlers' wading pool, all surrounded by sun decks furnished with lounge chairs and offering ceramics-painting and hair-braiding stations. Stepping down to the sand-and-rock beach, where light surf rolls in on most days, are sand terraces for enjoying the sun and views.

Non-Smoking Policy: As of September 1, 2007 all air-conditioned A La Carte restaurants at the Grand Palladium Resorts in Punta Cana, Riviera Maya and Vallarta Nayarit started operating as non-smoking facilities. Smoking sections will remain available at the Open-air restaurants.

VIVA MEXICO - Reached by a staircase ascending from the center of El Bosque, this dinner restaurant has its own palapa, features rustic decor such as wood-paddle ceiling fans, leather-and-wood furniture, and junk-metal sculptures, provides a sweeping ocean view, and serves a la carte Mexican fare. Reservations and casual resortwear required.
PORTOFINO - Located on a bluff overlooking the ocean and graced by a conical palapa, serves Mediterranean-accented, a la carte dinners. Reservations and casual resortwear required.
BBQ - Enjoy al-fresco dining, stop by and pick your favorite combination from our tender meats and delicious sides, salads and desserts. The BBQ is subject to cancellation and changes without prior notice.
BELLA VISTA - Adjacent to the pool, this large, multi-level spot serves fast food and light fare from late morning until sunset and features brick-oven pizza.
TEA TIME - High above the ocean this open-air, semi-circular terrace is the site for coffee, tea, and appetizers in late afternoon.
Room service is only available for Continental breakfast.

Please come to your favorite restaurant, where you will be given a table if available, otherwise you will be given options to dinner in alternate restaurants. If you still wish to dine in the chosen restaurant, a pager will be given to you by the host. When your table is ready, the pager will flash and vibrate. Please return the pager to the host, who then will show you your table. You will have a time frame of 10 minutes, if you do not present yourself within this time, your table may be assigned to someone else.
IMPORTANT: In the case that the pager is lost, you will be charged $950 Mexican pesos.
