If you're looking for a jungle retreat with a beach this is the place for you. The hotel grounds have been creatively designed and incorporate the surrounding jungle perfectly. Enjoy the tranquility of a quiet pool surrounded by comfy lounge chairs. If you're looking for a little more activity, there's another pool accessible by a wooden bridge that spans over the mangrove. This pool is a little more active and has a kids area as well. The best part of this hotel is that the beach offers great snorkeling and diving.

Sharing a site with a mangrove jungle and a tropical forest, Occidental Grand Cozumel offers guests superior diving and snorkeling on renowned reefs. This handsome, Mexican-colonial resort provides unlimited food and drink in beautiful restaurants and casual bars and equally unlimited access to the turquoise Caribbean, white sand, starlit skies, birdsong, and the tropical sun.
A white sundeck furnished with lounge chairs and white umbrellas surrounds a large, crescent-shaped relaxation pool. From the sundeck, a 100-yard wood bridge leads through and over a mangrove jungle to a second, larger activities pool that includes a shallow children's section.
Lapped by transparent turquoise water, the beach is blindingly white under the Caribbean sun and runs more than 1.5 miles north. Avian choirs inhabit both forest and jungle. Performances occur daily, at dawn and dusk.
Surrounded by the world's second-largest barrier reef, which runs from Cancun to Belize, Cozumel is famed for scuba diving and snorkeling. Waters directly in front of the resort and to the south are part of a national park. The resort's dive center offers excursions directly from the beach to prime sites on coral reefs just 5 to 30 minutes away by boat.
