NH Krystal Cancun

Family-friendly and moderately priced, NH Krystal Cancun attracts budget-minded guests seeking walking-distance access to Cancun's principal shopping, dining, and entertainment center, which is about a block away. A sundeck overlooking the sea features a freeform pool with waterfall at one end, swim-up bar at the other end, and infinity edge in the middle. Adjacent is a jetted children's pool.

During the winter, the shallow beach fronting the resort disappears, but it builds up again in spring and summer. Year-around, there's a sand terrace furnished with lounge chairs for sunbathing and thatched-roof palapas for shade. When winds create waves on the resort's side of Punta Cancun, guests can walk over to the bay side of the point, where they will usually find calm water along a public beach.

OPENING ON FEBRUARY 15, 2009 - The new Club Tower at NH Krystal Cancun, featuring 104 modern Krystal Club rooms. All rooms face the ocean and have spacious balconies.

Dinner does not include drinks and does not apply on Christmas and New Year's Eve Gala dinners.

HACIENDA EL MORTERO - Colorful air-conditioned Mexican restaurant serving three-course a la carte dinners. Reservations required. Mariachi band. Dress code: Long pants, sleeved shirts, closed-toe shoes for men.
LAS VELAS - Open-air beachside spot serving three-course a la carte lunches. Children's menu available.

325 spacious guestrooms in eight- and four-story towers. Rooms do not include balconies, but windows provide either views of the Caribbean Sea or of the street. NH Krystal Club rooms are located in the brand new Club Tower, opening February 15, 2009. All rooms face the ocean and have spacious balconies. The rooms include bathrobes, slippers, hair dryers, and iron/ironing boards. Guests have exclusive access to a check-in/concierge lounge with a big-screen TV, espresso machine, and computer with high-speed Internet access (surcharge). In the lounge, guests are served complimentary Continental breakfasts, non-alcoholic beverages all day, and afternoon cocktails and appetizers. Stairs lead from the lounge to a rooftop sunbathing terrace with plunge pool that provides sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea and Nichupte Lagoon.
