Nice hotel good beach and pool areas

Nice hotel with good beach and pool areas. Modern lobby and dining / bar options which then seems to fall a little short as you head out down the halls / rooms! Room was spacious as is bathroom, but some redecoration / repair needed. Pool and Beach areas nice (even though we visited a week after the hurricane) comfy loungers and most of the time enough to go around - the weekend got pretty busy! Bar staff by the pool / beach friendly and quick service throughout the day, unlike a few problems we ran into inside the hotel with the lobby bar closing early and the tapas bar not opening in the interim leaving us unable to get a drink on an All Inclusive Package! Dining options good although we were originally told we could only book each day and then missed out on visiting a restaurant as others booked days in advance - Over an hour wait for food in the Asian restaurant though, and that was just for sushi! Overall we had a nice stay, but the hotel could definitely make some adjustments to make it run a bit smoother. Wouldn't allow us to check in until 5pm, some not-so friendly staff, a few issues with minibar not being restocked and other small things that built up.

Perfectly Fine

This place is "perfectly fine". That's the best way I can describe it. We checked in and the process was very slow but when greeted, you are met warmly. The ocean view room we selected had a view of the pool and the ocean with a very nice terrace. The food in the marketplace (no reservation) was better than half the restaurants which require a reservation and it's serve yourself. The waiter service matched the check in, slow. But I suppose it's our standards which are quick paced as it seemed it's just the way it is in the bahamas, which was fine because we were on vacation and there is no rush! Black Angus is VERY overpriced but is definitely the best restaurant in the resort. The beach is beautiful with plenty of beach chairs. The pool is a bit crowded and you won't find a chair unless you are there before 10am. The drinks are good and the bartenders are friendly and fast if you give them tips. Past that, it's a perfectly fine resort with everything you need to relax and take it easy.

What's to Love

Lounging on one of the prettiest, white sandy beaches will make more than your vacay.

Sipping a cool adult beverage at the lobby bar is exactly what you pictured. Classy. Modern. Relaxed.

Three sweet pools with waterfalls, ocean views, and drink service. You've earned this sunny spot.

A friendly staff that will take care of all the details while you chillax in paradise.

Snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding - take your adventure out to the blue seas.

You can still get daily workouts in. The fitness center is stocked and open 24-hours a day.

What We'd Change

The high-end steakhouse isn't included in the all-inclusive plan, but all the other restaurants are. Also, it offers healthy dining options.

Why You Should Go

You'll be sippin' your Bahama Mama in a flash. The resort is a short 10-min drive from the airport.

Bus into Nassau is approximately $1.50 - sight seeing is the best.

Book early for reservations at the restaurants - you don't want to miss out.

When you check-in, ask for a cocktail or head to the bar so you can start living on island time.

On Friday night, mix and mingle with other beach lovers at the resort's Caribbean Night.

Start your morning with a hot, steamy cup of joe at Starbucks. (Or an iced latte always works.)
