What I love about this resort:
My ride to the Majestic from the airport is around 35 minutes. As I enter the hotel the front desk was located to the left, guest services and the lobby bar and seating was located to the right. Check in went smoothly. Many hotels in the DR are huge and very spread out, but this one is different. The rooms are close to the beach and well furnished as well as being close to the numerous swimming pools. Every room had a Jacuzzi and some of the rooms have direct access to the swimming pool. The food was just incredible! There are so many dining choices that we were unable to eat at them all. The hospitality we received by the staff was just outstanding.
What I wish I could change:
I wish they had more rooms available. They get full in high season, so book early. I also made a reservation for the Japanese when I checked in. All of their Gourmet restaurants do require reservations so its best to schedule when you arrive.
Why YOU should go:
Majestic has a nice full-service spa, with indoor treatment rooms, as well as massage beds at the beach. There is a beautiful theatre where they put on evening shows. The seating is very very comfortable. There is a casino with table games and slot machines. Drinks of course were included. The beach is beautiful! Pretty white sand, beautiful blue, warm water and very, very clean! There were always plenty of lounge chairs to go around. The blend of hospitality, food quality and friendly service, in my opinion makes this one of the best overall value/quality resorts for the money in Punta Cana.
