This is a great budget property with a real Mexican feel. If you're looking for an old-fashioned, rustic, authentic, relaxing experience, this is your place. Most of the public areas of the hotel are under palapa roofs. The feeling is very exotic and foreign, not American. You feel like you're really away. The rooms are comfortable and the pool and beach are very inviting.
What I wish I

The pool is a little on the small side but between the chairs around the pool and the beach you're sure to find that comfortable place to spend some time in the sun.

The location was one of the best I saw. I would recommend this place to anyone who is laid back and looking for a good time. Puerto Vallarta itself is SO BEAUTIFUL; the people are so nice and will stop and chat with you anytime. Puerto Vallarta offers a vacation option for every budget. Really cannot say enough good things about The Las Palmas and Puerto Vallarta, I totally fell in love with it! And would stay at The Las Palmas again anytime!
