What's to Love

Las Hadas is a hotel that needs to be experienced. Made popular by the movie 10 with Bo Derek. Everything here is decorated in white...down to the white marble floors. My favorite thing about this hotel is the ambiance....you feel like your part of the arabian nights....very quaint and cozy with a definate international flavor. Don't miss lunch or dinner seaside at Los Delphines.

What We'd Change

This property is built on a cliff which, depending on the location of your room, can involve some walking to get to the restaurants and beach. The staff operates golf carts around the property to get you around without effort.

Why You Should Go

Las Hadas Golf Resort & Marina Manzanillo

Ave Vista Hermosa s/n, Peninsula de Santiago, Manzanillo 28867, Mexico

Hotel Description

White, palace-like domes rise from this Moorish-flavored 65 hectares (160-acre) resort, set on a peninsula between Manzanillo and Santiago, in the first city of any size south of Puerto Vallarta. Minarets and domes look over marbled arcades of cobblestone paths interspersed with piazzas, fountains, and tropical flowers. The International social set, as well as sail-fishing aficionados, are frequent visitors. Most guests are couples, although singles and families are welcome.

Las Hadas Golf Resort & Marina Manzanillo has been ranked mong the top 100 resorts in the world in the November 2011 issue of Conde Nast Traveler, based on votes from the "26,000 most discerning travelers on Earth." The four-story Las Hadas Golf Resort and Marina offers two large swimming pools with waterfalls and tropical islands, eight lighted tennis courts, a 70-yacht private marina, a championship 18-hole golf course, and activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, pedal boats, waterskiing, and a volcano tour are available for a fee.

Manzanillo is a relatively undeveloped, working port where many shops and restaurants close for the afternoon siesta, and most are closed on Sundays, when the town residents head to the beach. Guests may wish to spend Sundays on the beach as well-a good place to soak up local atmosphere, and to get that dark volcanic sand between the toes.
