Decor is minimalist contemporary, with natural-color fabrics, light wood furnishings, and tile floors. Encompassing 50 acres of tropical gardens and sandy beaches, the resort does not feel crowded, even with a full house. Las Brisas Huatulco is large with 484 rooms, but they are housed in four separate "villages".

Las Brisas Huatulco, the first hotel in Oaxaca to be awarded the Certificate of Environmental Quality by Mexico's environmental enforcement agency PROFEPA, is well-incorporated in the global green initiative. The inauguration of "Parque Eco-Arqueologico Copalita" in Oaxaca promises to revitalize and bring awareness to the destination and further strengthen Las Brisas Huatulco's green mission. Las Brisas Huatulco also holds the distinction of being a Green Globe 21 certified destination, the premier global certification for sustainability. The hotel is also well known for their global commitment to restoring forests. The new eco-archeological park in Oaxaca, coupled with the hotels internationally-recognized commitment to environmental issues, boosts Huatulco's status as a competitive touristic region and guarantees a unique, ecologically-sound experience for national and international tourists.

Las Brisas Huatulco has also received the Silver Certificate of Environmental Status by EarthCheck, the leading benchmarking, certification and environmental management program used by the travel and tourism industry. Las Brisas Huatulco was awarded the certificate based on the quality and quantity of its water usage, its efficient use of electricity, fuel management and appropriate use of chemicals such as disinfectants, insecticides and chlorine as well as the responsible management of its surrounding natural resources.

Las Brisas is an outdoor recreation paradise. The resort has three swimming pools and four beaches with lounge chairs and shady cabanas. Four restaurants offer dining variety. The property is extensive, so the hotel operates several complimentary mini shuttle buses to ferry guests around the grounds.

The hotel has a computer room with high-speed Internet access, a spa that offers massage, facial, body, and hair treatments, and a watercenter that offers a variety of watersports.

Guests can choose either a European Plan or All-inclusive Plan.

BELLAVISTA - The is the main buffet restaurant. Diners enjoy air-conditioned comfort, but still have a view of the ocean. Serves breakfast, lunch & dinner in a casual, yet romantic, atmosphere.
ASIATIC RESTAURANT - Only open for dinner, with an Asian menu. Advance reservations required.
KASBAH RESTAURANT - Only open for dinner with a Middle East menu. Advance reservations required.
EL MEXICANO - Open for dinner for a Mexican menu. Advance reservations required. Enjoy the incredible regional specialties, with a marvellous oceanview and romantic atmosphere.
LA BRISA RESTAURANT AND BAR - Serving light snacks, Mexican fare, and drinks, this casual poolside restaurant overlooks the pool and the beach. An open-air deck has lounge chairs and a billiards table.
SOLARIUM - This casual restaurant is next to the beach and offers lunch and dinner under a thatched-roof palapa. Solarium specializes in regional seafood dishes.
