The Jalousie Plantation is home to the Rainforest Spa. Here, the skillful staff incorporate natural, regional ingredients, like banana leaves, coconuts and aloe vera, into soothing facials, massages and other treatments. Unwind in one of the spa's treehouse gazebos, or retreat to the exotic, earthen steam room, which is warmed by volcanic spring water.

Hewannorra International Airport (UVF) is located approximately 45 minutes from the resort. George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) on the outskirts Castries is approximately 90 minutes away.

Jalousie Plantation is located on the southwestern part of St. Lucia, about three miles outside the town of Soufriere. Soufriere is a historic town with the island's main natural attractions; the drive-in volcano, botanical gardens and waterfalls nearby.

Resort Update, January 2012

Non-hotel related work is being done to The Sugar Beach Residences on the far end of the property. This work will not impact guests of the hotel in any way and is being undertaken in an area that is closed off to guests. Noise associated with this project is minimal and is only visible to guests from the water. New beach front villas are being built in an area close to the beach and within sight of all the public facilities and could impact guests using the beach and pool area. This area is screened from view behind hoardings and every effort is being made to keep noise and any other potential disruption to a minimum. It is estimated that this project will be completed in 2012. This work is separate from the work on the Sugar Beach Residences. All renovations will be done between the hours of 9:00AM and 5PM, 7 days a week. The renovations will be on going. All facilities will be open and available for guests.
