What I love about this resort:
Originally constructed in 1804 it has a lot of old style Bajan influences
What I wish I could change:
The rooms are small, but that is part of the charm of the property
Why YOU should go:
If you are looking for a quaint boutique all-inclusive hotel close to bridegtown, and with easy access to several beaches, then this could be for you. There is not much to do for children

Island Inn Hotel, constructed in 1804, is part of the historic Garrison Area of Barbados and was originally the Rum Store for the British Regiment. The Garrison, its history and surrounding buildings, make up one of the finest examples of a military Garrison in the Western Hemisphere.

Today the property is possibly the smallest all-inclusive hotel in the world, renowned for its excellent local meals. The hotel is built around a courtyard which is ideal for cocktail parties and wedding receptions, and features Barracks Restaurant and a meeting facility which can accommodate up to 200 persons.

Situated two minutes and across a minor road from a beautiful white-sand beach, the hotel is less than a mile from the capital city, Bridgetown. It is also a short stroll away from banks, shops, nightlife, the Barbados Museum, and the Garrison Savannah, which is still used for parades and is the center for horse racing in Barbados and features a jogging track.

All-Inclusive rate includes:

Dress Code: Shoes and bathing suit cover-ups are required in all restaurants. After 7:00 PM, no jeans, shorts or tee shirts allowed in the bar/restaurant area. Men are required to wear long trousers at dinner.
