What I love about this resort:
This Leading Hotel of the World has beautiful, newly renovated rooms. The atmosphere here is casual luxury with all the amenities of a luxury property. My favorite spot is the new spa. It is a beautiful, tropical escape offering traditional mayan treatments...don't miss it!
What I wish I could change:
The hotel is very quiet; while that's the perfect vacation for some for those looking for a little more the clubs of downtown are a short cab ride away.

InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort & Spa is a unique hideaway, secluded and surrounded by lush vegetation and turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, situated on a half mile stretch of private white sand beach, only minutes from the colorful and abundant coral reefs, offering signature treatments at the new Mandara Spa. The 220 rooms and suites boats LCD-TV, WiFi, MP3, designer furnishings and top level amenities. There are three excellent restaurant options for dining at the resort.

Secluded on Cozumel's southwest coast, the resort offers immediate access to some of the island's best scuba-diving and snorkeling spots, including coral reefs within swimming distance of the beach. Intended as a restful retreat, the resort spurns organized activities, permitting guests to set their own agendas and to be left alone. Facilities and services include a 24-hour business center, smart shops, and an ocean-view fitness center.

Mexican-contemporary in architecture and design, the resort creates a dreamy ambience between the Caribbean and a tropical forest. White buildings include yellow accents and wear red-tile roofs. Hospitality is both warm and unobtrusive.

Divided into north and south sections by the resort's big swimming pool, a dazzling white-sand beach at the resort's front curves for more than one-half mile along the turquoise Caribbean. Most of the beach is raised from a rocky shore and protected from erosion. The flat, sand terrace is furnished with lots of thatched-roof palapas with hammocks. The pool includes a shallow, semi-circular children's section equipped with water jets. The surrounding sundeck is furnished with padded lounge chairs that have cylindrical pillows to support necks and knees. A pool concierge rents CD players and discs and provides Internet access at the desk. An ice cream cart offers frozen treats.

A Children's all year-round program where children can have fun and experience the culture and history of Mexico. The Chiqui Club offers kids the opportunity to learn about Mexican culture and history all the while having lots of fun! Activities include kite making, sandcastle building, arts & crafts, painting, nature walks, iguana searches, fish feeding, shellfish expeditions, children's aerobics, frog races, treasure hunt, Spanish for kids, Mexican games and more. The air-conditioned Chiqui Club also features a DVD player with a wide selection of kid's movies.

After dark, ramps and stairs glow with light provided by candles in large glass vases, and lanterns and torches illuminate the beachfront. By day, public spaces, the pool deck, and the beach are hushed and restful.

EL CARIBENO RESTAURANT & BAR - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Provides a casual outdoor setting facing the Mexican Caribbean, under an oversized palapa, serves contemporary and International specialities a la carte buffet style. Open daily from 7 a.m. -10 p.m. Live music entertainment.
ALFREDO DI ROMA - Renowned restaurant that owes its fame to the Fettuccine Alfredo as well as Italian specialties and an extensive wine selection. Open for dinner only. Dress Code: Elegant Casual.
CANA BRAVA - Ideal for light lunches on the beach.
