Very nice vacation!

This hotel was great. Everything was very easy. The beach was absolutely beautiful. And the hotel staff work very hard all day long to keep the beach clean. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. The views from the rooms are beautiful. My only complaint would be dinners at the restaurant. Portion size is very small, and the price is very high! However we walked into town almost every night for dinners. Lots of restaurants, shopping, clubs close by! I would recommend staying here if you love the beach, and for the ease of walking off the resort.

excellent value

excellent value. however, if you stay at the el presidente intercontinental, make sure you book deluxe room in the new building because the standard rooms in the old wing are horrendous.also, disappointed that they do not have a hot whirlpool. they advertise 5 whirlpools which they do have. however, they are cold....if you need heat for therapeutic reasons, do not go there.

All rooms are exceptionally spacious, with tasteful decor and cool marble floors. Each of the 299 guest rooms overlooks the shimmering Caribbean or the romantic Nichupte Lagoon. Non-smoking guest rooms and rooms with facilities for the disabled are available. The amenities are truly Inter-Continental in style. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, a color cable TV, radio-alarm clocks, coffee maker, mini bar, make up mirrors, hair dryer, direct dial telephone with data port, in-room safe, and an iron with ironing board. Buffet breakfast for up to 2 adults is included.

InterContinental Presidente Cancun's claim to fame is the fantastic beach here! Couple that with comfortable rooms, very nice dining experiences and the close proximity to local golf and nightlife and you've got all the elements of an unforgettable vacation.

It certainly is hard to leave that beach but when the sun goes down the nightlife of Cancun is a little out of walking distance. Cabs are very easily caught at the front door of the hotel.

InterContinental Presidente Cancun is a great vacation getaway. Great beach, great food, close to shopping, golf and nightlife.

The AAA Four Diamond Award winning InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort has just completed a dramatic transformation this past winter.

The InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort, due to its privileged location, added more than 15 feet of additional frontage to its spectacular beach, one of the largest and most beautiful in Mexico and featured as one of the World's Best Beaches by the Discovery Channel.

The resort's new entrance includes water accents, a motor lobby and a lobby area featuring a gorgeous view of the Mexican Caribbean.
