Great Family Vacation

The resort's beach, pool and activities were really wonderful. Our family especially loved snorkeling and catamaran sailing. The best part is that the use of snorkel gear, kayaks and catamarans is part of the all-inclusive amenities. We felt the wine and beer selections could be improved and two of the speciality restaurants didn't meet up to expectations for "fine dining." The Japanese Restaurant food and ambience was excellent. All-in-all this was the perfect family getaway and would recommend to others. No need to leave the resort, it was all there for a relaxing vacation.

Awesome resort experience!

I will be completely honest so you can put things into perspective. This was our family’s first experience at an all-inclusive resort. We have a family of 5, including my wife, a 14 year old, 12 year old and an 8 year old (that is tepid about swimming). We all enjoyed it! I did lots of research before booking this trip, so had a good idea of what to expect.., and I can honestly say if was our best vacation ever! We had great weather so the resort looked just like the pics on the website. The food was pretty good, plentiful, and very diverse. -But keep in mind this is the family-friendly resort so (for example) don't expect top-shelf liquor. It was recommended that we make reservations for the restaurants (there are several), but none were very crowded. There was pretty much always a buffet open to guests (breakfast/lunch/dinner). With an activity pool, lazy river, large infinity pool, gorgeous beach with plenty of chairs, daily entertainment put on by staff, we were not bored staying at the resort all-day. Even for our 8 year-old that doesn’t enjoy the pools as much.., the beach, kids activity center, and games were enough to keep him busy. The rooms were also plenty big), though we opted for two because our kids are not little toddlers). One negative was the fact that ongoing construction in the resort can be loud and annoying…but only if you are in a certain section of the resort and plan to stay in your room all day. Truth be known, we did do some excursions on some days, and so we did not stay at the resort for our entire 5-day vacation.., which I could not imagine why anyone would.., when Montego bay and surrounding areas has so much to offer. All in all, a very very wonderful experience.

Fabulous vacation

This is now our second stay at an Iberostar resort and could have not been more pleased. Between the food, service and the staff I couldn't tell you which was better. Always enough chairs at the pool and beach which not what you always find at other resorts. We have been to Jamaica 5 times and will probably always stay at an Iberostar resort. We have and teenage daughter who on each trip has been hard to connect with other teens but the entertainment staff did such a great job setting her up with kids her age (they will be best friends for life). Lots of tears when we left which is a good thing.

Relaxing Rejuvenating Getaway

Iberostar, treats you like a star. Staff are friendly always happy to serve you. Very clean inside and out, beautiful large beach. Never bothered by locals to try to sell you their "goods". Plenty of food and drinks at anytime of the day. Activities going on non stop or plenty of chairs to just sit and enjoy the warm sun and ocean breeze.
