satisified customer(s)

Our stay was for 5 days in mid-March. Resort is very nice, well-maintained, not too small, and not too big. The Iberostar family of 3 resorts are the only 3 located on this relatively short stretch (less than a mile) of beach, but that is not a bad thing. Did not see any local merchants on the beach due to this, yet there was plenty of space to accomodate activities, and/or private areas. The resort is VERY well kept, and food was better than most all-inclusive chains, with good variety @ the buffets. We had a total of 6 people in our party, and even the ala carte restaurants accomodated us to be able to sit together at our evening meals. Entertainment was above average, pool area is very nice, and activities were varied and well done. Upgrading to the "suites" portion of the resort is well worth it. The "beach" portion appeared to be a little more average, and more corwded. The "Grand" side is nice, but not sure you get a lot more bang for your buck there. Our room(s) were very nice, with a great view of the ocean, pools, and resort in general. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in our room, and guest services was very accomodting in setting up the room with the pullout and one additional bed brought in so both of our kids had their own. All of that, and we still had ample room for us to function. Very nice resort, nice staff, and we had NO safety concerns while on the property. Would return to this resort again.

Best All-Inclusive To Date!

This resort offered my husband and I our favorite all-inclusive vacation EVER! We have been on cruises, and to several different places in the Caribbean, and this one tops them all. This resort was more expensive than the others, but I am so glad we chose it. Employees were over the top helpful and friendly. They remembered our names after meeting us one time, and went out of their way to make our stay a dream vacation. Overall, the food was excellent. Best breakfast buffet I have ever seen, including at home. Omelets and eggs cooked to order, the bacon was very lean, 8 - 12 types of yogurts, pancakes, waffles, French toast, croissants, donuts, all types of pastries available. Additionally, they had fresh fruit, local treats, and various types of cold cuts, cheeses, and cereals. Lunch was the worst meal of the day, but was still much better than average. I would recommend eating at the grill instead of the buffet line. It seemed less crowded, and there were more vegetable and salad options. The meat was very tender, and seasoned well. Dinner was outstanding! We ate at the steakhouse, the Asian restaurant, and the Mediterranean restaurant. They were all excellent, but the steakhouse was unbelievable. The combination of a buffet/al a carte setup was perfect. We ordered appetizer and entrée, or entrée and dessert, but could visit the buffet for side dishes or more choices while waiting for our entrees. At the steakhouse, my husband hinted that he loved the coconut ice cream from lunch, and the server went out of his way to swap ice creams to make my husband happy. Pool bartenders constantly checked on us, making sure we had any drink (alcohol or not) that we wanted. Christopher even remembered the 4 or 5 things I ordered, and would ask which one I wanted next. Beds were comfy, but we had very firm pillows. After contacting housekeeping, we were brought 2 very soft pillows within 1 hour. Guest services checked us in for our return flight, and printed our boarding passes for us - saved us a 30 minute wait in line at the airport! We seldom visit the same destination twice, but this resort has us rethinking our future plans.

Last minute Mom/Daughter trip

Let me first start with saying we literally booked this trip 9 days before we were leaving and the goal was a direct flight, short trip from the airport and an all inclusive resort. That is how we ended up in Jamaica, not my first choice, however the Iberostar Suites received good reviews and met all our requirements. it was less than 30 min from airport, transfers were easy and on time. Infinity pool and lazy river was a neat amenity. The resort is rather small and was filled with a good amount of families. My only real complaint would be our view was of the kiddy pool and we didn't have any kids. I should have requested a room change because the other rooms had beautiful views. Customer service should have picked up on this. Staff was friendly, food was average, drinks were good. Resort was worth the value, clean, well maintained- Booking through Cheap Caribbean was easy and seamless, would do it again. Would not recommend leaving the resort unless for an excursion, pretty run down. We did climb the falls in Dunn's River and highly recommend-
