Room Information
17 stylish colonial villas set amidst 7.5 acres of lush tropical grounds. All accommodations are tastefully decorated in warm colours featuring hand painted murals and friezes evoking Caribbean themes.
The Studios feature one queen or two twin beds enhanced with mosquito nets, terrace, kitchenettes, bathroom with shower and separate toilet, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, air conditioning, ceiling fan, direct dial phone, safe, and television. Lower level rooms have gardens and partial ocean views, while the Upper Level rooms have panoramic ocean views.
The 1 Bedroom Suites feature a separate bedroom with king size bed enhanced with a mosquito net, spacious living room, terrace, American style kitchen, hand crafted tile bathroom with shower and separate toilet, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, air conditioning, ceiling fan, direct dial phone, safe, and television. Lower level rooms have gardens and partial ocean views, while the Upper Level rooms have panoramic ocean views.
This resort's open-air main building and 17 villas are set on 17 acres and only a 5 minute walk to Orient Beach. My favorite feature of this resort (other than the spacious rooms and the private terraces) is the poolside bar and restaurant. Spend time there, you will really know you are on vacation.
What We'd Change
Although you are only a 5 minute walk to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, I would recommend renting a car and make sure you take in Grand Case and Marigot for other dining options.
Why You Should Go
Great service, with charming villas that feature cooking facilites, air-conditioning and terraces that offer privacy and views of gardens or the ocean. Guest receive complimentary breakfast at poolside and whatever you do...don't miss dinner at the poolside restaurant. The ambiance is relaxed and elegant and the food and service is excellent!

Located in the heart of the beautiful Orient Bay Resort and 5 minutes walking distance from the magnificent Orient Beach, La Plantation offers charm, comfort and personal service. The 17 elegant colonial villas are set amidst 7.5 acres of lush tropical gardens.
Newly redesigned reception area now includes 2 fixed internet stations with printer access. In addition complimentary WIFI access is available at the reception, restaurant and pool areas. Other new renovations include the enhanced pool area with the new sun deck seating, a perfect spot for evening cocktails. The restaurant terraces have also been extended to increase covered dining areas.
Although it requires a few minutes walk to reach the gorgeous white-sand beach, this is one of the most attractive and appealing hotels at Orient Bay. It's set on a steep, carefully landscaped slope, and designed like an upscale and rather charming condo complex. Orient Bay has everything you are looking for: sailboats, catamarans, windsurfing, jet skis, water-skis, diving, kite surfing and snorkeling. There is horseback riding, charter boat trips, sport fishing, parachuting and hydroplaning for the adventurous.
The hotel provides an Orient Bay charge card, allowing guests to charge to their room at the 5 full service Orient Bay area restaurants Coco, Waikiki, Bikini, Kakao and Kon-tiki which offer international and French cuisine, private beach, boutique, snack bars and massage services.
