The Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa & Casino offers a boutique village experience in the center of Willemstad, the island's capital city. This hotel boasts 80 guest rooms and suites, no two of which are alike. Every accommodation features hand carved furnishings, antiques and art, hand-painted walls. All 80 rooms and suites are situated in several beautiful restored buildings, furnished with rare antiques and priceless art. Each guestroom is individually distinctive in character all featuring hand carved beds, a/c and some with ceiling fans, 2 telephones (one portable) with call waiting and messages and a data port, High Speed Internet, Flat screen television, CD player, in-room safe, mini refrigerator, writing desk with chair and small sitting area. All bathrooms are marbled with upscale amenities, hair dryer, clothing butler and bathrobes.

What's to Love
Great alternative to a beach vacation! This property is an oasis in the city with easy access to excellent restaurants and shops. Don't miss the Governour Restaurant for some great dining. FYI: A complimentary shuttle takes you to the sister property Lodge Kura Hulanda and Beach Club if you want to enjoy a day at the beach!
What We'd Change
Dining can be rather expensive, but you are only a short walk to some nice markets where you can purchase snacks and wonderful Dutch cheese and rolls.
Why You Should Go
The hotel feels like its own little village, great location in town plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The eco pond swimming pool is very unique.

Comprising of 17th and 18th-century buildings, the Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa & Casino is part of a restored Dutch Colonial village on the Otrobanda side of Willemstad - a UNESCO World Heritage site that also includes an anthropological/cultural museum, a center of cultural studies, and a contemporary conference center. Guests come for restful, traffic-free holidays in a tranquil setting of narrow lanes and garden courtyards.

Two pools are tucked away in quiet garden courtyards. The two-level Eco Pond is a 100-foot-long, waterfall-fed, grotto-pool lined by natural rock formations. The Bolivar Pool is a more traditional in style and features a children's pool. Teak lounge chairs supply sunbathing comfort.

In Curacao's Papiamento language, Kura Hulanda means "Dutch courtyard." Appropriately, narrow paving-stone lanes winding through the village lead to courtyards shaded by thickly leaved trees and dense gardens, each space suffused with afternoon music from a discreet high-tech sound system.

Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa & Casino also boasts the Santai Spa which offers a great variety of massages and signature treatments, internationally known as well as locally developed, to meet any wishes you may have. An air-conditioned fitness center contains cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights, a large sauna, a large steam room, and marble-lined locker rooms with showers. There's also a business center equipped with computers and internet access.
