This was an absolutely wonderful getaway! The island is absolutely breath-taking and the hotel itself was wonderful! I would definitely recommend both this hotel and this island to anyone looking to relax and unwind. It is very laid back and slow paced. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Also, it is well worth the trip to go to the downtown area. It was a short ride away and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from. The locals were very friendly and the scenery is beautiful. One cool part of the downtown was the floating walkway that swings open to let in incoming boats and ships. It was so cool to sit at a table right in on the water having a drink and watch the ships go by!! Do yourself a favor and go......soon!

Nice island, older hotel
My wife and I enjoyed our 5 days/4 nights on Curacao a great deal! The Hilton was probably one of the lower end Hilton's I've stayed at, and I've stayed at a very many of them. The service was wonderful, but I'm a little suprosed this property still has the Hilton brand on it. It's just, "okay", but really needs a complete overhaul to be in line with the other Hiltons in the Caribbean and in the US. Best part of the property is the beach bar called Pirates Cove located right next door.
The island is wonderful. Highlights include Boca Tabla park, Westpunt, Willemstad, snorkeling, Pirates Cove and Hemingway's.
Great getaway!!
The Hilton Resort is probably the nicest on the island and so well located to downtown and island attractions.
The most beautiful sunsets with mojitos every night!!
Would go back again anytime!!

Room Information
196 guestrooms in a five-story building. Guest rooms are decorated in warm tropical colors and feature ocean or island views, private furnished balconies, one king or two double beds, air conditioning, color satellite tv, direct dial telephone, in room safe, coffee maker, alarm clock radio, iron with ironing board and hairdryer. All rooms feature data ports for easy computer access, ideal for business travelers.
Sitting on a peninsula, this resort has one of the best views on the island. Great beach with calm water make this a excellent property for kids. Make sure you try the weekly BBQ at the hotel, great food and reasonably priced.
What We'd Change
Taxi's can be expensive so you may want to rent a car, but get a good map as there really are not many road signs to direct you.
Why You Should Go
Some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean. Rent a car and drive to the north side of the island. It's beautiful also check out some of the small beaches on the west side and don't miss the restaurants and shops in Willemstad, the capital!
