What I love about this resort:
Casual, open air resort on a picture perfect cove, lovely intimate resort perfect for families, couples or singles. The beach is wonderful with plenty of lounge chairs, you don't feel as if everyone is on top of each other. Lovely setting with great views.
What I wish I could change:
Restaurants require proper attire in the evenings, which means long pants, collared shirts and shoes for men and skirs, dresses, capri's and pants for women.
Why YOU should go:
For a memorable experience make sure you take a trip to visit the Outhouse at the top of the hill. You cannot call it a restaurant, more like a barbecue pit with picnic tables, chairs, hammocks etc. Mary (who is the chief chef and bottle washer) comes every day rain or shine. Guests enjoy coming up to enjoy the view, lay on a hammock, play cards or just pass the time away with Mary. Built after a hurricane, Mary comes everyday to the Outhouse at the top of the resort and grills chicken, beef or fish and serves it along with a homemade salad, and of course there is plenty of cold beer and drinks in the cooler. Open from noon to 4 or 5 pm. You will love it!
