Excellent Value

Everything was fantastic, the food was great, rooms were comfortable and clean, plenty of activities for everyone in the family with a wide variety of options, the service and respect of your working team was extraordinary! The property map was a bit deceiving and confusing. Possibly consider an upgrade showing the walkways around the perimeter of the lobby's, show a land buffer of mangroves from the villas appearing to be right on the beach, provide and show all of the lobby's on the map. The bigger the map, the better in our opinion. The gym facility at the spa was extremely hot! Needs air conditioning! Reservation booking one day ahead of time is a great concept and we strongly believe it should apply for all of your fantastic restaurants. Primarily because after we were advised by guest services that it was not necessary to reserve a time slot for every dinner (with the exception of the seafood by the water and Japanese Hibachi) we proceeded not to. However, upon arrival to the El Dorado steak restaurant we were prompted for our reservation slip? Granted, the hostess was very respectful and efficient in accommodating us with a table, we would've been happy to book a reservation ahead of time. This feedback is solely based on opinion and is hopefully taken positively. We are bed and breakfast owners and always appreciate real feedback as we are providing you. We had a fantastic adventure and will seriously consider returning to your chain of resorts. Overall, a wonderful wonderful family trip! On another note, the spa services were perfect. Great job!

Great family spring break

Grand Palladium - Had great time, family of four (two young teens). - Shared the Jr Suite with Double beds -plenty of space, and a great room! - Fabulous service ALWAYS - Played beach sports (volleyball, ping pong, etc) - Went to numerous shows (lotsa fun) - Did the daytime items like dancing, yoga, etc -all good and very enjoyable instructors - Invest in a cheap pair of water shoes, it will allow a lot more ability to get in the water - Pools were fantastic - Great maid service, room service, etc - Leave a tip for everyone -they are working as hard as they can to make your stay fabulous (I brought pesos -a 20p note is about $1) - Took the Collectivo to Akumal and to Tulum: by far the least expensive way to get around, and a lot of fun being with the locals for the kids. - Ala carte dining could wear Bermuda shorts and sandals -amen. - Buffets were well stocked and always supervised by the chefs for freshness, appearance, flavor, etc - Saltwater pool is a blast for the kids (bring a banana or some of the Koi fish food) - It was sold out, and not once did I feel like it was crowded. Always chairs, never any lines (a bit of waiting sometimes for dinner), drinks were always cold, and there was a smile on everyone's face - Just a fabulous set up all around - If I could change one thing, it would be that the snorkel gear included fins -that would have made a tremendous difference.

Great experience

The resort is excellent on many things. The services are good. The room is comfortable. The location of our room (56) is great to pool, beach and restaurants. We tried many different restaurants, all are good. We love the Thai place and Italian restaurant. The fish restaurant right on beach, excellent view. However we book Japanese restaurant, but it is so small, we only get 10pm spot. The pool actually is colder than the sea. The beach is long and pleasant to walk. Be careful when get a little deeper, there are reef bottoms. I can't stand with bear feet. The resort provides many activities. The kayak, snorkeling, and paddle boarding is free. Canoe is only available for Maya and Royal. Boat is free in inner river. There are parasailing and scuba diving with extra charge. But still nice you do not need to go out the resort and having all activities. We also tried the Segway tour (1 hour) around the resort. That is fun experience. This time visit Cancun we stay in resort the whole time, didn't even go out to other parks. The room is pretty good size. The AC will work if you lock your balcony's door. There are many animals on the resort. Some with fans many not. There are many small stands during night. I do not focus on shopping. So only look around in very short time period. For people like shopping. There are stores in resort during the day. Overall I think Grand Palladium is a great place to stay.

Amazing family vacation!

Everything about our experience was top notch from start to finish! The resort is stunning! The beautiful huge lobby spaces of all the resort complexes are amazing and we were greeted by helpful and kind staff that took our bags, brought us a refreshing drink right away and a cool refreshing cloth as we were checking in at the check in counter with several staff all smiling and helpful. The grounds are just exquisite and when we got to our room my husband, myself and our two teenagers (16 and 18) were in disbelief about how fantastic our room was. The beach areas were amazing as well. Plenty of beach chairs and our kids loved the hammocks that were on the beach as well. We stayed at White Sand and we felt that beach area was the best of them all. The sand was so soft like porcelain, while the others were a little more coarse, and it had the flattest beach area of them all which was nice. Food choices and places to eat were great. We paddle boarded, kayaked, and snorkeled all at the resort which was wonderful that it all was provided and easy to access and in great condition. Tried several of the restaurants in the evenings. Breakfasts were unbelievable! So much to choose from. It was wonderful to sit down and have three meals a day with my family....and I didn't have to prepare or cook a thing or clean up!!!! We visited all of the resort complexes while we were there. So nice that they have constant transportation between them. We went to the shows in the evening and listened to the different musicians they had performing in the lobbies as well. Pool areas were amazing as well! We would highly recommend Grand Palladium!

Amazing family vacation! Amazing family vacation!

It's all-inclusive and all-incredible - there's something epic for every beach lover.

The natural freshwater canal surrounding the resort - hypnotic and dreamy.

Melting at the Zentropia spa with vapor baths and stress-ousting massages amid waterfalls.

The Brazilian steakhouse and Sunset Boulevard disco - not necessarily in that order.

What We'd Change

Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa is really big but beautiful. Trekking from one part of the complex to another feels more like an adventure than a chore.

Resort Update
Palladium Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to upgrade its Riviera Maya Complex throughout 2017, including incorporating the current Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa into The Royal Suites Yucatan. This transformation will be completed in various phases starting on June 1, 2017. Construction will mostly take place within the current Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa and will have minimal impact. All guestrooms within the hotel, the rocky walkway along the water & the salt water pool area will be closed to all guests during the completion of the project. All other areas including the Riviera Lobby, Disco & Theatre, El Jardin Restaurant and the current The Royal Suites Lobby will be closed during certain dates listed below. During times of closure, the areas will not be accessible to guests and should therefore not impact the guest experience.

Below is a complete project timeline:

Disco & Theatre:
June 1-November 1, 2017: Construction will be in progress in the Disco and Theatre of the current Grand Palladium Riviera Resort & Spa. During this time, alternate entertainment venues will be provided to guests. Once construction to the Disco and Theatre are complete, the Disco will convert to become one of four exclusive restaurants available to guests of The Royal Suites Yucatan and the Theatre will become the second exclusive restaurant providing guests with a Dinner and Show themed experience referred to as the Cabaret.

Riviera Lobby and Kabah Buffet:
June 1-September 15, 2017: Construction will be in progress at the current Riviera Lobby which will convert to the new The Royal Suites Lobby. Guests will not be affected by this construction since all guestrooms in Riviera will be closed. All hotel services will be available at the adjoining White Sand, Colonial and Kantenah Lobbies.

Construction will also be in progress at the Kabah Buffet. During this time, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available at La Laguna as well as the other restaurants within the Riviera Maya Complex.

The renovated Kabah Buffet will feature 2 separate sections (1 buffet exclusively available to guests of The Royal Suites and 1 for guests of Grand Palladium).

El Jardin Restaurant & the current The Royal Suites Lobby:
September 16-December 1, 2017: Construction will be in progress at El Jardin restaurant and the current lobby of The Royal Suites. The current lobby for The Royal Suites will convert into 2 separate a la carte restaurants. By this time, the new lobby for The Royal Suites will be open at its new location and the buffet will be available at Kabah.
