Welcome Back
A wonderful resort and romantic setting for my author wife. Staff was superbly friendly. Favorite activity was horseback riding on Macao Beach. We met great people from Spain, England, Germany, Scotland and the states.We plan to return and see them and our Punta Cana friends.

Amazing Vacation spot
We went last July 2009, this was our first trip to the Carribean and we couldn't pick a better place to go.
ROOMS
The rooms were spacious. Ours had a jacuzzi in the room and a queen sized bed. The little mini bar was filled up every day with soda and beers. The maids were always polite & courteous to us when they made up the rooms and gave us extra towels or extra drinks if we requested them.
RESTAURANTS
We tried out the Italian, Oriental, and Brazilian during our stay.
My personal favorite was probably the Italian. The menus are all displayed in each lobby area and the servers were very friendly.
BUFFETS
There is a theme night at the buffet each night which were pretty good to be honest and we were happy to go here for our other free nights. There was an Italian, spanish, american, mexican, dominican, oriental, and gala night. The food was very good and yet again the service was phenomenal. for breakfast the buffet was open as well and served so much food and delicious fruit shakes.
POOLS/BEACH
We did not really spend much time at the pool, though it has many activities and music. The beach was beautiful and clean. The water was warm and clear blue. The sand was white and very clean. There was a bar by the beach if we wanted any drinks
All in all, a really nice place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy the beach.

Room Information
504 comfortable rooms, all of them with a fully-fitted bathroom with a hairdryer, air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safety deposit box, coffee maker, minibar (with welcome pack of drinks) and terrace or balcony.
The moment I arrived, the amount of effort to maintain the extensive grounds and landscaping thoroughly impressed me. The rooms were very nice and a bit larger than I had been accustomed to on previous trips to Punta Cana.
What We'd Change
Given the size of the property, getting around can take some time. Give yourself a few extra minutes when using the tram/bus transportation network.
Why You Should Go
This is a wonderful hotel for families and with the oversized rooms, plenty of room to spread out. There are also numerous activities to pick from.

Grand Palladium Palace Resort & Spa is set in an exceptional spot right on the sea front in the well-known Bavaro beach, featuring an extensive beach of fine white sand. A coral reef lies near the shore where those fond of diving and marine life will find their dream. The Resort is next to the neighboring Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort & Spa and Fiesta Beach Resort & Spa, and is surrounded by a coconut palm plantation and exuberant tropical vegetation.
There are large sports areas for playing tennis, basketball, soccer and volleyball. It is also possible to sail and enjoy other watersports in the beautiful azure waters of the Caribbean. There is a large pool with a jacuzzi, swim-up bar and spacious sun terraces with deck chairs and sunshades for enjoying the sun. The Spa is located on the beachfront with a gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam baths; (beauty treatments and massage are available for an extra charge).
The facilities are rounded off by a shopping arcade with supermarket, souvenir shop, Internet center, Wireless Internet access is available for an additional charge, pool room, beach shop, photography shop and 24-hour medical service. The kids' club offers entertainment and activities for younger guests; babysitting and child care is also available for an additional charge.
Meeting space and audiovisual equipment are available for large and small groups, as well as a business center.
Non-Smoking Policy: All air-conditioned A La Carte restaurants at the Grand Palladium Resorts in Punta Cana, Riviera Maya and Puerto Vallarta operate as non-smoking facilities. Smoking sections remain available at the open-air restaurants.

LA CATEDRAL - Located at the pool Samana at the Grand Palladium Bavaro. Offering an International buffet, local plates, Show-Cooking and theme dinners.
EL BEHIQUE - Located at the pool Samana at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana. Offering an International buffet, local plates, Show-Cooking and theme dinners.

THE SPORTS BAR - The perfect place to eat something light between meals and is open between 10 a.m. and 6 a.m. Luxury Casino.
