family vacation

I loved the resort and the staff was amazing. The dominican's are truly some of the kindest people. I felt so comfortable there and it was absolutely beautiful.

This was a beautiful resort although I felt as if I were In a Spanish country. Their wasn't much of a Jamaican feel here, everything was Spanish influenced from the food down to the entertainment. Their wasn't much night life, we had to go off the resort everyday for real Jamaican food and parties. Also getting towels and our room cleaned was a disaster. We would call for service and no one would ever come, so we cleaned ourselves most of the trip. I would also recommend if you like to drink you should buy something to keep in your room because after 10, their aren't too many options. We made the best out of our trip but definitely wouldn't come back to this resort.

Wonderful time.

This was our first vacation ever together. It also happened to be our honeymoon. We were so impressed with the hotel the staff and accommodations wonderful. We had to wait till 3 o'clock to check in but they hold your suitcases in the lobby so we were still able to explore and have lunch during that wait. The excursions and things they offer to do on the resort are amazing. So many different choices for every one of all ages. We are very impressed with the food. Our only complaint about the food is that the sports bar food was cold and they didn't bring it out to us until about an hour after we ordered it. I would recommend this Resort to anyone looking to go to Jamaica. Worth every penny spent!

Worst resort Ever

We travel to an all inclusive resort once a year, and I have to say The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa was the worst we have ever stayed in. The service was TERRIBLE! The air condition and power in the room would shut on and off 4 or 5 times a day. There was no remote for the TV and the hand held sprayer in the tub was missing. The only shower was outside of the room and it was very run down and nasty. The room was a horrible 85 degrees. Room service was very slow, if not nonexistent. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and it was about a mile to the spa and main dinning area, which we would have to walk every time we wanted to eat or go to the spa. The shuttle service was joke. After complaining the shuttle was about every 30 to 45 mins. We would call and they would never come. 2 towels were all that were in the Suite. It was liking pulling teeth to get extra. It was our Anniversary and were told we would be receiving a Special Gift? Never happened. When I ask for the Manager I was told that he was on vacation. I explained that the condition were unacceptable. The transportation supervisor was sent out to speak to me. I explained everything to her and she said she would get right on it. Room was still 85 degrees, room service, & transportation was still horrible. Save your self from the JOKE of a resort in Jamaica and go to Mexico. We have never had a bad experience there. Never make the same mistake twice!

What's to Love

It's all-inclusive, all-beautiful and all you'd ever want in a beach vacay. Swoon.

The 86,000 sq. ft. infinity pool with four Jacuzzis. You could hang here the entire time & be just fine.

Modeled after Roman baths, the epic spa's stress-busting massages, Turkish baths & more.

Teeing off at the renowned Tryall Country Club that's just 10 minutes away. Schwing.

Swooning over the panoramic view of the pool and teal ocean from the Blue Lagoon restaurant.

What We'd Change

The resort is built in rugged country, so the man-made beaches are rocky. Even so, the area is beautiful, and with five pools, finding a place to swim is no problem.

Why You Should Go

It's about 40 minutes from the airport - blink and you'll have a chilly drink in your hand.

You can hop on catamarans, kayaks, pedal boats, snorkeling & windsurfing 100% FREE.

Volleyball, tennis & aerobics are available for calorie burning. (Dip into the ocean to cool off.)

Dunn's River Falls is not too far away and is a must-splash. Jump in.

Since these are villa-style, three-story buildings, there are no elevators. Better than a stair-climber.

However, if you want to dry off, you can hang at a terrace bar with a 180-degree view of the ocean, a sports bar (open 24 hours), a disco and of course, all the haunts next door at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Bar. Cheers.
