This was the biggest resort my boyfriend and I have stayed in and it was definitely worth it. There was so many different options on where you wanted to spend your day in paradise, there was 3 different beaches, an adult pool that gave you complete serenity, and there was the main pool that gave you the pool bar, fun atmosphere, and great vacation feel. This resort had 7 different restaurants and all of them where amazing and 5 courses, we never left one of them hungry. This resort was amazing and offers a lot of options! We will definitely be back!!

This is a good value hotel. Rooms are nice, food is good, service is very good. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.
Beaches are nice but some rocks & algae to deal with. No beach service so drinks and food are far away. Didn't hang out at the pool but looked nice and big. Not many activities on site.
I wouldn't return because there is no room service. One sports bar stays open 24hrs which could be far depending on your room location. Also, drink cups are tiny - like 8 or 10 ounces so make sure you double up or bring your huge travel mug for refills!
We really enjoyed this resort. Food was much better than your typical all inclusive. The Italian and Steak restaurants are in high demand so you need to get there early. The beach is definitely rocky but it is much quieter and private than the main pool. We really enjoyed the spa pool and hot tubs - probably our favorite thing about the resort. The staff were wonderful with the exception of the water sports staff. We used the kayaks(which were great) and snorkel equipment but the staff was rude and acted though we were inconveniencing them. The two adjacent resorts are very expansive and made for a great morning walk or run. The rooms were very spacious, loved the balcony and walk in shower. We would definitely return and recommend this resort to others.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite and absolutely loved it! The pool was beautiful, the beach was beautiful, the service couldn't have been any better. A lot of walking but they were always ready and willing to take us on the shuttle. Everyone we encountered was polite and eager to please. We can't say enough about how nice of a place it is and how wonderful the people are. Can't wait to go back!

resort fees3 answers
i want to book a package at the sheraton in nassau. i'm concerned about resort fees. does anyone know if the total price includes the $40/nt mandatory fee imposed by the resort?
2 years, 28 months ago
Great question! Short answer: Yes!
All CheapCaribbean.com pricing includes mandatory fees (such as daily resort fees, bellmans fees, maids fee, etc.). We strive to make our clients' trips go as smoothly as possible.
A few things that may not be included in the hotel rates may be incidental fees, which may vary from resort to resort and are only a hold on the account. Incidental fees are assessed directly from the property in the event that additional services are purchased. For example: spa services are billed to your room, damages to the room occur during your stay or other scenarios such as those.
Once we got there everything was paid for. We did tip our waiters and maids, but you don't have to.
EXPENSIVE, LIKE EVERY HOTEL AND FLYES
Not aware of any resort fees at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton.
Any security guards at any of these resorts?11 answers
2 years, 27 months ago
Most resorts do have security on site to ensure that those on property are guests of the resort. Since many of the resorts in Jamaica are all inclusive, the resorts make every effort to ensure that only those who are supposed to be there are allowed on property.
Yes, I regularly saw security guards patroling the grounds.
Yes, they have ,any and the patrol the grounds regularly. I felt very safe!
I was there about two weeks ago. There were security guards that walked and were visible throughout the property. I felt very safe in the property.
There is security at the gates, it is walled and fenced at the peremeter and there are guards through out. I have never seen unwanted guest and we have been there 3 times.
Yes but unarmed and life guards
Yes there is security at the Grand Pallidum. We had two stationed outside our Villa over night.
Yes, place is secure!
Yes at night there were several the the Grand Palladium,
Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton-
There are security guards at this resort.
We felt very safe the whole time.
We were advised to keep anything valuable in the room safe, we did and had no problems.
yes. I remember seeing them at night when we walked back to our villa. I felt completely safe at the resort.
Should we make reservations for the sit down restaurants before we go?
Is there a limit to the number of times you can eat at the sit down restaurants?
2 years, 26 months ago
YES MAKE SURE U MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR THE SITE DOWN RESTAURANTS. THERE IS NO LIMIT
The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton does not require reservations to dine at any of their ala carte restaurants-first come-first served, with no limits.
No not really. Because we really didn't wait that long.15 min the Max.
I think there is because they ask you your room number. But why would you eat in the same place the same night. so many restaurants and they give you a lot of food.
DEFINTLY MAKE RESERVATIONS!
We were told upon arrival they do not take reservations- what you do is go to where you want to eat and if there is a wait you can go sit at the bar and they'll call you when a table is ready- best to get there early if you are hungry. The portions may be smaller than what we are used to in the states but since you are not paying you can get whatever you want, and there's always a salad bar.
There is no limit- you could eat at the beachside seafood restaurant (our favorite) every single night if you want! Great place to get there early and watch the sunset- very romantic, there was even a small wedding party there one night.
Also we thought the creole restuarant and Indian restaurant were way underrated and there was never a wait!
(of course it depends how crowded the whole resort is I suppose)
We were there just last week and they were not taking reservations. First come first served.
We tried to make reservations and they wouldn't take them. First come first serve. The steak house was the longest wait and really not worth the wait. If you go to eat at 5:30 to 6:00 no problem. After 6:00 will be a bout 30 to 60 minute wait, Just go to the outside bar and have a drink. Wait isn't bad.
There is no limit
I know there is not a limit to the number of times you can frequent one place. I am almost positive they don't take reservations.
I don't think a reservation is needed. We had troubles one night getting a seat in one of the restaurants, so we waited until the next day and went.
We made our reservations when we got there they tell you to have it done before two o'clock and we made our reservations all at once and there was no limit on what restaurant we ate at.
Reservations are not accepted for the restaurants. Later dinner times is your best bet... i.e. 8'sh. You can eat at any of the restaurants as many times as you would like. May I suggest the Indian restaurant? It's very good! In the Italian restaurant...don't order the calamari (ick). Also, the burgers on the beach are amazing!! A must have if you eat meat. I don't like burgers but had one every day:-)
Check with the front desk when you check in on whether you can make reservations or not - not sure if everyone can. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary - which we informed them of ahead of time - and they gave us a special RED wrist band - which supposedly let us make reservations.... We did it once. The other nights we just showed up, in some cases we had a little wait - not too bad - one time we decided to head to a different restaurant due to a 30 minute wait....
No limit to how many time you eat at any restaurants! Food was fabulous. We did not have a bad meal OR DESERT!
which room has the jaquzzi?11 answers
this package comes with the jr. suite and that does not say it has one but the upgrade (one bed room suite) states in the description that it has one in the bathrooms. i have seen the one bedroom suites on youtube and there were no jaquzzis but i saw a studio with one. well all in all i have no idea, all i want is a jaquzzi.
1 year, 23 months ago
The Jr. Suites have a very large bathtub with jets. I guess it is not a real jacuzzi but we enjoyed it. It is larger than a regular tub.
most of their rooms are jr. suites and they all have jacuzzi's.
I just got back from my Honeymoon in Jamaica (Grand Palladium) and i stood in a 1 bedroom suite and yes it does have a Jacuzzi.
i think they all do
We upgraded to the 1 bedroom suite and had a great bathroom with a big jaquzzi tub and a seperate large shower.
All the suites have a jaquzzi tub big enough for 2. The honeymoon suite has the biggest one.
We had the junior suite and had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.
I know pretty much all junior suites comes with a Jacuzzi.
Not sure if Jr. Suites have jacuzzis, but the Villa suites definitely have oversized 2-person jacuzzis; as well as an outdoor private shower. Worth the upgrade!
We had one in the (king)one bedroom suite inside the bathroom.
We just came back from the Lady Hamilton a few weeks ago and stayed in a Jr. Suite. Ours had a a jaquzzi in the bathroom and was medium size (great for one person...a bit tight for two). I think the bigger suites come with a jaquzzi twice the size of the Jr. Suites.
How is the beach?6 answers

The beaches at this resort have the rare combination of white sand, clean water, very little seaweed, and lush vegetation that provides shade on a hot day. This generally extends to the grounds and and pool.
The beaches are beautiful!! There are several for you to choose from without leaving the resort.
Great Beach!! Free kayaks, wind surfing, Hobbie Cats and cheap scuba. secluded lagoon make water nice and calm
SO SO, NOT TO MUCH SANDS OVER THE BEACH, TO MUCH REEF CLOSE TO.
The best beach there is Sunset cove not as rocky as the other beaches
Clean and spacious with Life Guards.

The resort offers shows and games in the theater nightly. There is also the Boogie Woogie night club, which is air-conditioned and is open from 11pm-2am. How many people are at the club and out and about at night can vary greatly depending on the current clientele at any given time, however.
Poor. the casino is nothing. The dance club is empty and the live music isn't always very good. There are shows nightly, but we missed them all because we were stuck in restaurants.
Non-existent really. Everything starts to shut down at 11 - I guess if you are up at 7 a.m. in the sun that it's hard to last into the night. There is a disco that is open until 1 a.m. but nothing spectacular.
One disco tech on property closes early 11pm ($80 cab ride 40 min each way to Negril or Montego. Price is for round trip(all day) and cabby keeps a watchful eye and makes sure No one bothers you
Just excellent - there's Cabaret show, disco, jazz and the sport bar is open all night.

What is the difference between the two Grand Palladium properties advertised?7 answers
12 months ago
The Grand Palladium Jamaica and Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton are the same resort with two separate buildings. Both sides of this resort have shared amenties. The biggest difference is the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton offers Suites that are adults only.
This resort is so huge that we didn't walk over to the Grand Palladium side really. I did see the villas, they seemed to be the same as the Lady Hamilton side from the outside, the Grand Palladium side backs up to the main road whereas the Lady Hamilton side is more along the beach and closer to the restaurants and pool, it is definitely more quiet and private.
Nothing really. It is really one big resort.
Both of the properties are actually connected and within comfortable walking distance. Overall, there seems to be more stuff on the Lady Hamilton side. I'm glad we stayed on the LH side b/c that's where the beaches are, the Jerk Hut, the Spa, and a majority of the restaurants.
Same Place , It is so massive they split the property in half and gave it different names, but all pools resturants, etc, same place (name denotes which side of the property you will be staying on)
DON'T KNOW, WE STAY AT THE GRAND PALLADIUM LADY OF HAMILTON BUT THE PEOPLE SAID IS NOT TO MUCH DIFFERENT , ONLY THE ROOMS, BUT WE DID NOT STAY AT THE GRAND PALLADIUM, SO WE DIDN'T SEE IT.
The main entrances are in the same building, just different ends. As
to the rest of the amenities, they are shared. One of the properties is
on the east side the other on the west side.
Not much. Both are in the same area but Lady Hamilton I was told is a newer property.
is topless allowed at this resort and are there children??9 answers
Is this the ADULT resort of the two??
This is not a topless resort. There is an adults only section at this particular resort, but it is just a section of the resort where children are not allowed.
No topless, yes children but you never see children around they are usually in children area
IS NOT TOPLESS ALLOW AT THE HOTEL, ONLY ADULT POOL.
Everyone wore bathing suits and there were children there but there was also an adult pool. It stayed open later in the evenings
you would need to book the honeymoon villa suite on the lady hamilton side which is for adults only, and one of the workers said you can go toplless at the beach on that side
Topless is allowed only at the adult pool and children are allowed at the resort but not on the lady Hamilton side
There were some topless at the ADULT pool but it was away from
the public areas.
There is a Adult beach next to the Adult pool and topless is allowed. Lady Hamilton side is adults only and child are on the Jamaica resort side.
There are lots of children and program for them too. Casual wears mostly.

Do the ala carte restaraunts have dress codes?9 answers
8 months ago
According to the information we have from the resort, there are not any specific dress codes for the a la carte restaurants. However, you would be best to check with the resort directly as they will have the most up to date and accurate information available for you.
They just require the man to wear pants to dinner
Long pants for men, other than that no dress code.
Yes the men have to wear pants and women cannot wear bathing suits
The restaurants were easy to get along with. No reservations required
and dress code was relaxed with men wearing long pants and collard
shirts, the gals can wear long pants or dresses.
Yes, they do have dress codes. No shorts except for children. Men should wear long pants (no jeans) and women should wear dresses or skirts. Most people were fairly dressed up although if you were more casual you did not feel out of place.
Dont think so. I went into all the restaurants unhindered in whatever I was wearing - shorts and T shirts.
