Best Purchase Ever

We were pleasantly suprised when we arrived at the Grand Palladium in Jamaica. Everything went well from the moment we stepped off the plane. The ride to the resort was comfortable and short. Check-in was easy and the accomdations exceeded our expectation. We had never done an all inclusive before and thought we would only get breakfast and dinner. Unlimited food and beverage, yippie. The pool was spectactular and the beach was inviting. The spa was delightful. We have recommended the resort to many friends and we are trying to see how we can afford another visit.

Amazing Vacation!!

My friends and I stayed at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton last spring and had a fantastic time. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, with a decent sized balcony. There are so many different activities to take part in at the resort, if you want to be active, you will never be bored. With all the activities available, there are still plenty of places to relax! Make sure you visit the spa, the services are excellent and aren't too expensive. We went a few times throughout the week. We ate at just about every restaurant, and loved that we did not have to eat at a buffet every night. If you watch the show on just one night during your stay, make sure it is the comedy night, it was hilarious. Next time I go back to Jamaica, I'm definitely staying here. Everyone was so accomdating and helpful. It is a long ride from some of Jamaica's tourist attractions, but the resort itself is worth it.

Good Value

Nice pools around facility. Decent snorkeling from shore. Nice diving from boat. Friendly people in relaxed environment.

An amazing vacation!

After reading some of the reviews on this resort, I was a little leary about our trip. I worried unnecessarily! My husband and I went with another couple to celebrate our 5yr anniversary. We had the most amazing time. My only regret was that we weren't able to stay longer. The resort was beautiful. It was everything we were looking for - at the top of that list was relaxation, and we found it. Everything was clean and well maintiained. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and prompt. We had a slight clog in our shower drain the first night; we called down and it was fixed within the hour. The beaches were private and secluded, no solicitors unlike the beaches we visited in Negril. There were some broken tiles in the pools, but those were all in the process of being fixed (there was a schedule for each pool). It was not a problem and the repair work should be completed by now. The pool in the spa was closed for maintenance when we were there, so the resort in conjunction with Cheap Carribean provided us a discount without us even requesting it. I can't say enough about the trip or the resort. I would defitely reccomend this resort and return again. The travel agent that we worked with through Cheap Carribean was also very helpful in assisting us and the couple we were traveling with book our trips separately while still ensure we were placed by one another and secure an ocean view. Thank you Cheap Carribean and Grand Pallidium, we had an amazing time!!

390 Junior Suites and 78 One Bedroom Suites. All the suites are located in 15 three-story buildings. Two double beds or one king size bed. Views are based on availability. Rooms come with air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini bar, satellite television, in-room safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, sofa bed and balcony or terrace. 48 adult only ocean front Villa Suites are located in separate buildings on the point, each of two levels. The accommodation buildings do not have elevators.

The Palladium resort opened in July 2008 so has all the latest amenities. Every room is a junior suite and comes with a jacuzzi tub. The property has the largest swimming pool in Jamaica, and one of the largest spas I have seen before. The resort is very spread-out, thus you can always find your own corner of paradise. Check out the adult only rooms situated along the point, on the Lady Hamilton Side. You might want to come back for your anniversary.

This is the first resort in town of Lucea, so there is very little to do in the immediate area. However, there are lots of adventure style tours to do close by, and these can be pre-booked, or booked while at the hotel.

The overall Palladium complex offers the best value for money in Jamaica. The two resorts offers excellent accommodation and an incredible selection of restaurants and bars to choose from. Perfect for families and couples. The transfer from the airport is a quick 45 minute drive.

The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa and Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa is set on an amazing stretch of coastline in Lucea, mid way between Montego Bay and Negril. The property is comprised of two different accommodation sections, The Jamaica resort and the Lady Hamilton resort. Both sections have access to all the facilities. This section, the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort, has 516 rooms distributed into 13 villa style buildings of three levels each. There are no elevators. Each villa has 30 junior suites and 6 one bedroom suites. In this section of the hotel there are also 48 Adults-Only Ocean Front Villa Suites on two levels located along the point (see separate hotel listing for the Jamaica Resort section).

There are a total of 5 fresh water pools. The main swimming pool has 4 integrated Jacuzzis and a large swim up bar. There is one dedicated pool for children. The spa also has a lazy river swimming pool. One quiet pool is located in the Grand Palladium Jamaica section with one integrated jacuzzi and a dedicated bar. A Children's Club for kids aged 4-12 is located next to the main pool offering indoor and outdoor activities.

The Grand Palladium properties offer guests a wide variety of both day and night-time activities for adults and children. Daytime activities are many and varied: petanque, beach volleyball, aerobics, tennis, soccer, basketball, miniature golf and darts. Facilities include 3 tennis courts, 2 beach volleyball courts, 1 basketball court, 1 soccer field, 2 paddle tennis tracks. Enjoy evening activities such as communal games, nightclub/discotheque, live music and shows as well as nightly children's show and a children's disco. A 284 square meter air-conditioned casino gaming room offers slot machines and video poker to the guests of the Grand Palladium resorts.

The main section of the property does have an elevator from the lobby level to the ground floor where the pools are located. The villa style 3 level buildings in which the rooms are located do not have elevators.

The 4,600 square meter air-conditioned spa offers a wide variety of treatments such as massages, facials, body treatments and scrubs, plus a full service beauty salon offering waxing, manicures, pedicures and much more. All spa services are extra. The fitness center consists of a weight and body building area which is separated from the aerobic and cardiovascular zone training area. Personal lockers and dressing rooms will be available.

Golf at the world famous Tryall Country Club is available, not included, to guests staying at the Grand Palladium resorts. Tryall is only a 10 minute drive to the east of the resorts and offers some of the best golfing in all of Jamaica.

There is a large selection of restaurants, consisting of buffets and creative themed a la carte restaurants. Drinks are served in 12 bars, and snacks are available 24 hours a day.
