Good experience for value

Overall this was a great vacation. Rooms were extremely nice and comfortable, property was beautiful. At some bars it was difficult to get a drink however the adult pool bar was very accessible and the bartenders there were awesome. The buffet food was good nothing amazing, however the food in the restaurant was very good, beautiful atmosphere, great waitstaff.

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa

Just returned from Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa, and love all the beaches and the staff was very friendly. The maid we had was perfect and all my request were honored. For me personally the food was ok, a few good things for me, but if you like fried, greasy food then you will love it. I loved the entertainment every night. The pools were awesome. I thought the spa was wonderful and very relaxing.

Excellent value

We used amstar for pick up and drop off it was seamless. Also something we found out is if u book excursions thru them since you are a cheap Caribbean customer you are covered for accidents or mishaps under they're insurance. The excursions I checked were cheaper than people downstairs. The casino is really just a room with about 30 slots and a virtual card dealer for blackjack. It's been 13 years since we were in Jamaica and boy the food improved. If u can't find anything to eat it's kinda on you. We ate the Mexican, Italian, and Bubbas steak house(2x) along with the 3 buffets. The restaurants are really good. The buffets had something from every side of the world. They arent as good as the restaurants but you get full. The sports bar on the other hand was not good. Went several times to get food and it was always gone or was stale or just gross. Our friends ordered off the menu and said it was just ok.There were 8 of us so I was able to see all different rooms, they ALL WERE AWESOME. It's a big resort so be prepared to walk, didn't see many carts. The pools were clean I would have given 5 star on those but NOT ONE jacuzzi in the whole place worked. That's my one complaint, everyday they said we are working on them. I saw a review 2 weeks before we went saying jacuzzis didn't work. Friends had an issue in room and called for 3 days and no one came. They don't skimp on liqueur at all. Wasn't hard to get a drink except in restaurants. You would have main course before u got even a soda, but they never let u run out of water so not really an issue. Bring plenty of ones and fives for tips and your vacation can be even better. Most of staff was eager to help with a smile on they're face. FYI honeymoon villas are right next to adult pool and bar. It's a pretty small man made beach and rocky, you won't get waves or go for a run on the beach if that's what u want. But plenty of space to get in water and lay out. Only seen about 4 kids in 7 days but the kid pool looked fun. 2 bud lights a day in fridge.

We just returned from Jamaica after staying 6 nights at the Lady Hamilton. The resort was beautiful and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and you are allowed to choose an al a carte restaurant every night. The rooms were spacious, clean, and really nice. The entertainment at night was great! I especially liked the show on the beach but all were entertaining with a talented staff. We chose this resort because of the location and that it was 45 minutes away from Montego Bay and 45 minutes to get to Negril. We had stayed at the Grand Palladium in Mexico and we loved it! The only negative that I experienced was the pools did not seem to be as clean as they could have been especially the adults pool. No big deal we preferred the beaches anyway. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I look forward to coming back one day. Jamaica was beautiful!

What's to Love

It's all-inclusive, all-beautiful and all you'd ever want in a beach vacay. Swoon.

The 86,000 sq. ft. infinity pool with four Jacuzzis. You could hang here the entire time & be just fine.

Modeled after Roman baths, the epic spa's stress-busting massages, Turkish baths & more.

Teeing off at the renowned Tryall Country Club that's just 10 minutes away. Schwing.

Swooning over the panoramic view of the pool and teal ocean from the Blue Lagoon restaurant.

What We'd Change

The resort is built in rugged country, so the man-made beaches are rocky. Even so, the area is beautiful, and with five pools, finding a place to swim is no problem.

Why You Should Go

It's about 40 minutes from the airport - blink and you'll have a chilly drink in your hand.

You can hop on catamarans, kayaks, pedal boats, snorkeling & windsurfing 100% FREE.

Volleyball, tennis & aerobics are available for calorie burning. (Dip into the ocean to cool off.)

Dunn's River Falls is not too far away and is a must-splash. Jump in.

Since these are villa-style, three-story buildings, there are no elevators. Better than a stair-climber.
