Grand Oasis Riviera Maya is a laid-back beach resort attracting couples and families with older children.

OASIS RUNAWAY PROGRAM: Guests staying at any of the Oasis Hotels and Resorts on an all inclusive basis will be able to visit and enjoy the Oasis resorts for the day, having access to all food and beverage outlets and resort facilities. The ID system will be based on their wrist bracelet. Guests staying at any Grand Oasis property will be able to visit any other Grand Oasis or Oasis Resort as described above. Guests of any Oasis property will have access to other Oasis properties only, without charge. However, guests staying at any of the Oasis properties will be able to have access to Grand Oasis facilities by paying a surcharge per person directly on site for "day use" only. Guests are required to visit the Oasis Plus concierge desk to make arrangememnts one day prior to visiting any other Oasis participating resort. Transportation cost is not included. This program is not available at the Oasis Cancun Resort from February 20 - April 4, 2010.

308 guestrooms located in two 2-story buildings (no elevator) connected by seashell-and-stone walkways and screened by lush tropical landscaping, giving guests more privacy than the extensive grounds suggest. Room decor has a colonial Mexico look, with tile floors and wood-and-iron furnishings. Walls are sponge-painted. Bathrooms have porthole windows and deep tubs or Roman-style showers (step-in shower with high sides). Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, clock radio, in-room safe ($), servi-bar, and hair dryer.

Closest airport is Cancun International Airport. Approximate driving distance is 60 miles. Mayan ruins at Tulum and Xel-Ha or the popular Xcaret Park are situated within 15 miles of the property.
