Good last minute trip
We planned this trip a week before and had a lovely experience. The resort was well-maintained and there were activities at all times of the day. The beach and views were beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxing and laid-back. Lots of shade and lounge areas in which to take a break from the sun. The Oasis Palm next door has a more lively atmosphere (music, etc.), so it was nice to have the option to join in the fun or just chill out.
My sister and I flew to Cancun for a long weekend over Valentine's Day to celebrate my birthday. This package was perfect for us! I loved how easy it was to make all the arrangements necessary: flights, travel from the airport, and hotel. One of the engines on our flight out of Chicago caught fire so we were behind schedule. I called the number on our itinerary and our transportation was waiting when we arrived - 6 hours late! The resort was beautiful - the room was gorgeous. We had a view on one side to the ocean and the other to the bay. The food was delicious - we only had to wait for a table for a great meal outside. The pool was a nice way to cool off after enjoying the beach. The beach was absolutely beautiful - the water was so blue!! This was our first trip to Cancun and we will definitely go back again. The hotel was well stocked and the staff very attentive.
From the time that we arrived at this beautiful resort we were greeted with drinks while checking into our room. The staff was courteous and prompt. We received a quick tour of the amenities and were informed of all the dining options that were plenty. The rooms are clean and nicely cooled and we had a beautiful view outside our windows. The food in the restaurant was nothing special but still delectable. We especially liked the Sushi bar and breakfast at one of the restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this resort and would definitely do it again.
Had a family reunion and everyone had a great time! This is a cozy and quieter family resort with adjoining Oasis Palm Resort (which is suited for younger crowd). So you get 2 for the price of 1. This is a great resort for your money and it's reasonable and valuable especially if you have kids - since they stay and eat for free. It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's decent enough with good food, drinks and services. The hotel is clean as well as the rooms. The only drawback is the hotel lobby and elevators. There's no air condition in the lobby & there's only 2 small elevators with no air condition too. The beach is not the best since there's alot of seaweeds, unlike on the hotel zone side of the beach, but it's great if you like calm water with not much waves. However, you can take a bus ride and visit the other Grand Oasis Cancun and the other OASIS Resorts and use their beach and their facilities for free. Would definitely recommend it!!!

The Grand Oasis Palm has 345 rooms, all with a marvelous view. They are equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom, King Size or two double beds, TV with cable service, coffee maker, hair dryer, direct dial telephone ($), Mini-bar with water, sodas & beers, safety deposit box ($) and amenities.
The restaurant selection at Grand Oasis Palm is out of sight! From the steakhouse, serving succulent meats Rodizio-style, to the Asian fusion at Akeru, eight restaurants and eight bars guarantee delicious variety galore.
What We'd Change
A swim-up bar on-site would be nice. The pools are gorgeous, though, and a swim-up bar is located right next door if paddling your way to a cool drink is a must.

Privileges are based on a wrist-bracelet ID system. Guests staying at any Grand Oasis property are able to visit any other Grand Oasis or Oasis Resort as described above. Guests of any Oasis property only have access to other Oasis properties, without a surcharge. Guests are required to visit the Oasis Plus concierge desk to make arrangements one day prior to visiting any other participating Oasis resort. Transportation costs are not included.
