Grand Case Beach Club
I loved staying at the Grand Case Beach Club. It was walking distance to town and we had a great time. I would go back again and stay..
St Martin is on of my favorite Islands and I hope to return!
My girlfriend and I spent a lovely week at the Grand Case Beach Club in July 2009. It was my first time in the Caribbean, she has been there dozens of times. St. Maarten is an interesting place, two countries on one small island - one side is Dutch and the side where we stayed is French. The hotel is located in Grand Case, which is a small village that is home to dozens of gourmet restaurants. The hotel is small and the staff is very friendly. Our oceanfront room was just feet from the Caribbean, which was great. They have two beaches, one is small and private, the other larger and semi-public. One tennis court which we used daily, and a fabulous restaurant with a million dollar view of the water. Very basic rooms, nothing fancy at all. Not all-inclusive, we ate breakfast daily (continental breakfast was included) and ate dinner there twice (excellent French food). Other nights we walked into town for dinner (takes 5 minutes). Water was crystal clear and silky. Very relaxing vacation and a good value at the summer rates.
Grand Case Beach Club was outstanding. The property is meticulously maintained, my condo was large, modern and well kept. It was spotlessly cleaned each day. The staff was superb. The restaurant on the premises was very good, although I only ate breakfast and lunch there. The beach was perfect - quiet and there was no surf but you could snorkel on nearby rocks. The restaurant will serve you beverages and food on the beach - just raise the flag on your chair! The location of the property is within walking distance to some of the best restaurants anywhere and the food, wine and service at each that I dined at - Le Cottage, Le Auberge Gourmande, Fish Pot, Spiga, Talk of the Town - was also outstanding. Overall, a perfect vacation. The only thing that could have improved my stay is if it were for a longer period of time !

True paradise for people who love great beach
This is my second time going to Grand Case Beach Club. If you are a person who loves all inclusive resorts, this place is not for you. But if you love to swim in the most beautiful, clear blue calm waters of Caribbean, this is the best beach I found on St Martin and I stayed on that island 6 times in different locations. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, service is great. Restaurant on the premises is wonderful and within 10 min slow walk you have a street with more than 20 best French restaurants I ever tried. French is my favorite food and Grand Case is the best for it.Not cheap, but worth every penny. I would definitely recommend L'Auberge Gourmande, Le Santal, Le Tastevin. I will be going back to this place, actually this will be TH PLACE i will stay when on St Martin.

The restaurants can be expensive, but bring cash. A lot of the restaurants will allow $1 = 1Euro exchange when using cash.
Why You Should Go
I love this property. Perfect for families, couples and singles. The restaurant is excellent and the condo-style property is very well run.
