30th birthday celebration

I decided to book this resort for my 30th birthday. I thought overall it was great stay. When you arrive the bell boys takes you bags while you checkin. The lobby is nicely decorated with beautiful pictures on the wall. People are relaxing throughout. The daiquiri bar about 15ft away. This is the best place to get drinks throughout the entire resort.. After check-in we were driven to our room on a cart. The room had a great layout with 2 four poster beds. The room was clean. The only issues were mosquitos in our room. I felt like it was a feast at night. We had told them and they were suppose to fumigate the place. The all inclusive included soda that was in the rooms. You had to pay for the lockbox. The pools were clean and you have to get there early enough to get a chair under the shade. The pool bar likes to mix pinacolada with daiquiri syrup to make their daiquiri. They had daily events and a schedule where everything would be held. They had shuttles that took practically anywhere and most of them learned who you were pretty fast, which I thought was really nice.We actually went to the Super Bowl party they had. We went to the beach which was lovely and a nice tempture around this time of year. They had nice love music each night and the disco was pretty good. After the Congo you were able to eat at the snack bar until 5 but the shuttle ends at 3. I must say I enjoyed most of the food, but it's similar at all the places. Make sure you have plenty of off spray because the first couple of days I think I had more mosquito bites than anything lol. Plus wifi is only free in the lobby or it's $15/day or $60/week so it's cheaper to get international service for you trip. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We had a great time on our vacation. Overall we were satisfied. There are some things we could knit-pick. For example, problems with our door not reading cards and getting locked out constantly, no ice anywhere nearby to cool beverages and a mini bar - although stocked with a small selection - was not plugged in...it's a "temperature keeper". By far the best aspect was service. Every person was polite and professional. The" included" was actually a great bargain and they did not skimp on the alcohol. The food in the buffet was okay but was repeated mostly every meal. The reservation dinners were excellent meals. The rooms are minimalist but I promise you won't ever be in them except to sleep. This was our first trip to the island but we all agreed we would come back.

Pretty good deal for the money

We went to Punta Cana for a "mother-daughter"trip. I have to say that overall the resort was great , and I feel that we got a good deal. The grounds and landscaping were beautiful ! There were plenty of trees, and flowers to make you feel you were in the tropics. There were always staff working on the property - raking, cleaning , painting etc. The rooms were average- clean and comfortable. We had a jr. suite - which was roomy with a small couch and table with chairs. The cleaning staff was friendly (although did not speak any English) they would try to help or bring items when requested. The pools and the beach were very clean , and well maintained . They even had staff out raking the sand at the beach ! Why i'm not sure ?! The resort was large, but they had trams that shuttled you around , and I did not have any issues with getting around. The resort offered entertainment every night - with a variety of shows etc. My only complaint - if you will was the way the food was handled. When we booked the trip we had 2 sit down dinners at one of the 5 restaurants. The rest of the time we could eat at any of the buffets. As soon as we arrived we tried to schedule the sit-down meals, but were told that there were no reservations available. This was disappointing to say the least. The food system was hard to understand and navigate . We ate at the buffet most nights . The food was fine , just nothing spectacular .

Girls getaway

Resort was as pictured. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beach was beautiful but crowded. Pools were the same. Food and drinks were both good. There were several different levels of "all-inclusive" on the site which lead to some confusion as to what was included in my package and where I was able to go and eat.
