Facing a long, tranquil and beautiful beach, this secluded resort on the northwest coast offers peaceful holidays for adults in West Indian-style beachfront rooms and Tahitian-style lagoonside cottages.
What I wish I
could change:
Not much! The only thing to remember is that proper dress is required which means collared shirts, dress pants and shoes for men and skirts, dresses, capri's or long dress pants for women. Also, remember to bring film and sunscreen as it can be expensive to purchase on island. Its an adult only resort, children under 16 years are not permitted.
Why YOU should
go:
The resort extends along the full length of an 800-m (875-yd) beach washed by the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Undisturbed by outsiders, guests sunbathe, walk on the beach, and ride fat-tired bicycles on the sand. A freeform pool has a multi-level rock waterfall. Guests feed fruit to resident land turtles, bird-watch and jog around the resort's bird-sanctuary lagoon, and dance to live music after dark.
