Elegantly casual, exemplified by an expansive open-air lobby containing red-and-gray marble, plants, flowers, and upholstered dark-rattan seating. A multi-story thatched palapa shades the entrance, escalators connect to and from the lobby, and a waterfall serves as the hotel's towering signature.

A pool complex consists of an upper pool cascading into a meandering lower pool that includes a children's section. Beach frontage comprises 250 meters (273 yards) of powdery white sand extending the length of Cancun Island along the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Cushioned lounge chairs provide sunbathing comfort around the pools, on the beach, and on sand and grass areas terraced above the beach. Thatched palapas furnish shade.

**Rosato Ristorante - Intimate, fine-dining Italian/Mediterranean restaurant featuring black marble, white linens. A la carte menu. Dress code: no shorts, athletic shoes, casual sandals.
**K'ambu Palapa Restaurant - Casual, open-air waterfront spot with exhibition kitchen. Open late morning to early evening. International cuisines, including sushi.
*Splash Bar - Poolside open-air bar also serving burgers, sandwiches, pizza, other snack foods.
*Beach Bar - Tropical-drink service on the sand.
*Lobby Lounge - Spacious, skylighted, air-conditioned bar/lounge with ceiling fans, plants, upholstered seating, wood floor. Open early evening to late night for cocktails, complimentary appetizers. Live music nightly.
*Los Naranjos Cafe - Open in lobby for early-morning Continental breakfast when hotel is busy.
