Located nine miles from Bermuda International Airport (BDA). Approximate driving time is 20 minutes.

Transportation

Bermuda does not permit rental cars. Guests commonly take taxis to hotels and use public buses and ferries. Scooters are readily available for rent, adjacent to the Fairmont Hamilton Princess. A driver's license is not required. Driving is on the left side of the road. Shuttle vans or private cars of varying prices are available.

Fairmont Southampton

Guests can take a complimentary shuttle boat 25 minutes across the harbor to a companion resort, the Fairmont Southampton, for access to a private beach; an 18-hole, par-three, executive golf course; a 30,000-sq-ft health-and-beauty spa, featuring a large, indoor pool and spacious spa tubs on ocean-view sundecks; and nine restaurants, including one in a house dating from the mid-17th Century.

Special Note on Dining

Note that Harley's Restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner during the winter (Nov 15-Mar or Apr), but breakfast and Sunday brunch are available year round.

Private dining on a small patio overlooking the harbour is also available by request, as is room service.

Description: Providing light fare and premium drinks throughout the day, it was recently praised by the New York Times as having the best afternoon tea in Bermuda, The Heritage Court also serves finger sandwiches, scones with Devonshire clotted cream and sweet pastries and a steaming pot of English tea every day from 2:30pm-5pm.

Pools

The hotel features two 90-by-35-ft pools, one freshwater and the other saltwater, surrounded by terra-cotta sundecks furnished with lounge chairs. The saltwater pool will be drained during the winter months, but the freshwater pool is open year round and is heated to 84 degrees in the winter.

Towel service, lounge chairs and umbrellas are complimentary.

Night Life

The hotel features a variety of special theme nights. Martini Mondays and Oyster nights are featured year round at the Heritage Club, and live jazz music is presented every Saturday.

During the summer, the hotel also features a weekly barbecue and a weekly wine tasting, both at Harley's Restaurant.

Wedding Services

The hotel offers a variety of full wedding packages, which include the services of an on-staff wedding planner, as well as a choice of catering options from the chef.

Spa Services

Guests have the choice of booking their day spa treatments at the Inverurie Day Spa at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess or at Willow Stream, the Spa at The Fairmont Southampton.

Exercise Facilities

Open 24 hours, the Fitness Center at The Fairmont Hamilton Princess can be accessed via a keycard and overlooks the hotel gardens.
