This adults only, all inclusive heaven on earth has seven gorgeous pools that wind through the resort with swim-up bars and suites! Amazing Trip!!!
We just returned from Heaven - AKA Excellence Playa Mujeres!!! Wow! What a fantastic place!! Everything was truly 5 Star!! I have stayed in plenty of 5 Star resorts and hotels; however, Excellence truly was the definition of a 5 Star resort!!
The customer service was impeccable and very impressive. We felt like royalty the entire time! The one thing that stood out was that their friendliness and willingness to make our stay was genuine - definitely not "put on" because they had to.
The food (and we ate plenty) was also very inpressive. Wonderful selection of food and all very fresh and delicious!! Outstanding!!
Our suite was our own paradise! The only thing I would improve here is the bed - not very comfortable at all! Our lounger outside was more comfortable than the bed!
I highly recommend upgrading to the "Excellence Club" as we did - definitely worth it!!

First class resort!
Excellence Playa Mujeres in Cancun offered the absolute best in privacy, comfort, dining, and entertainment. The grounds are impeccable, the staff very courteous and attentive to every need, the dining choices were diverse and excellent. Personal hint: Be sure to start your day with the iced Excellence Cappucino from Cafe Cafe.
I, as part of the one percent,scrimped and saved for a few years to be able to go on a vacation.From the moment my wife and I arrived at the airport,we were treated like royalty.We have never experienced this type of service.We dined on delicious foods.We were never ignored.The staff was always greeting us with smiles and asking if we needed anything.Amazing.The weather was perfect.The beach was so beautiful.So all my wife and I could do was relax and enjoy.Thank you Excellence Playa Mujeres for a most memorable anniversary!
My husband and I just got back from a WONDERFUL TRIP ! Do not listen to any of these bad reviews. We were upgraded to a Roof Top Balcony room! It was Huge! The pools were refreshing- clean. The grounds were very well kept. The staff was FANTASTIC- we especially loved Juan- He worked at the grill restaurant- OMG- SO entertaining... All of the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed ALL of the restaurants- sometimes we ate 2 meals... The cocktails were never ending and always served with a smile.. The beach is kinda small but we did not mind.. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you want to stay in Cancun!

The sunshine protection is more of a gimmick than anything. Because most of the resorts are offering some sort of discount in order to get more business, Cheap Caribbean won't let you use the rain coupon on top of the resort's discount. So, the rain protection seems like kind of a farce, it sounds good but is virtually worthless. So, enjoy the rain on your next vacation but don't expect any benefit on your next booking.

Excellence Playa Mujeres is the newest adults only all inclusive resort in Cancun.

EPM is only 4 years old and beautiful. It's in a quiet area with miles of unspoiled beach. Great food and staff with very pretty buildings and setting.

I don't know but Excellence de Playa Muerjes is only about 4 years old and has been well maintained. I would deinitely recommend it.

With nine restaurants and 11 bars, you'll find plenty of options for filling up and cooling down after sunbathing: from falafels at Barcelona and samosas at Basmati, to duck pate at Chez Isabelle or the exquisite tour of food at the Flavor Market, the diverse tastes delight the palate. After dinner, head to the Cigar Bar for a smoke or take in the tunes at the Piano Bar.
