We'll be back!
It had to be at least 8 years since we visited Punta Cana. To our surprise much has changed. The service staff were fabulas, the resort was beautiful, and the food was edible. Actually in spite of the few complaints that surfaced around us the food ranged from good to excellent. As for the staff you could not ask for much more. They were curtious, friendly, and always greeted you with a smile. Juan was our beach bar/'waiter. He was wonderful. My wife and I would go for a dip in the water and when we returned there was a drink waiting for us (cold drink). The only complaint may be some of the other guest did nothing but complain (a very select few). To be honest some thought that they only mattered and no one else existed. Bill Gates attiude but lack the funds to back it up. I feel sorry for those guests because they probably would not have been happy no matter what was offered to them. If you're single and looking for night life, forget about it. The resort was primarily families and couples. The casino was a joke and the night time enterainment was indoors. If you have small children, this place is for you. They cater to the kids all day and include night time activies as well. If you and your spouse/friend just want to unwind and relax with not much night life, then this pace is for you.Although some complained about the sea grass in the water, the beach was beautiful and warm. There is no way you can beat the price for what you receive in return.

Staff was spectacular, fun games around the pool, drinks plentiful,
and beautiful beach. Nighttime shows were weak, and the food was average. I would definately go back without a second thought.
The place was beautiful. From the resort itself to its wonderful staff and beautiful weather. The buffet and restaurants had great food and lots of options. The beaches were really nice and clean as was the pool. My only complaint was a leaky shower but not really a problem since I didn’t have to clean it up. The staff was more than accommodating. Would definitely visit again.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Dream Palm Beach resort this summer and had the best week of our lives. Every minute of the trip was beyond our expectations. Our hotel supervisor that cheap caribbean provided planned our whole week full of private island tours, snorkeling trips, swimming with sharks and jungle cruises. After long days exploring we would come back to the hotel and be treated like royality. The staff knows you by name and was some of nicest people we have ever met. I would recommend this to anyone and we are already saving for our next trip back :)

Is Dreams Palm Beach, Punta Cana Dominican Republic a good place for singles?6 answers
My sister and I are planning a trip to Punta Cana early may for our birthdays. We have scoured the internet and Dreams looks and sounds beautiful.
Unfortunately, they only mention couples and couples with children. We are not looking to "hook up" or party hard. We just want to have fun, meet new people and relax.

We did not stay at dreams. We stayed at Iberostar and no matter which one you choose it doesn't matter. They are beautiful and have tons of activities for kids. We are planning to go again and take our five small grandchildren.

Dreams is a great resort for adults, couples, and families. They have something for everyone and the resorts are not geared towards couples. You and your sister would have a great birthday vacation at the Dreams Palm Beach.

It's a pretty good place to go for singles or couples. There was plenty to do for everyone. Didn't see any single males, but I did see groups of females having a ball.

yes, Dreams at Palm Beach is a great palce to stay in for singles, couples, and couples wiht children. They even have activities for single people visiting the hotel. There is a varaety of activities going on all day at the beach. You will have fun and at the same time relax at the beach and/or pool!

I recommend to look for something else but for reasons other than your concern. Check out Secrets or other chains and maybe not in Punta Cana.
