Shaped like a U facing the beach, the 151-room, three-story hotel encloses terraced gardens featuring cactus and other desert plants. The resort purifies its water.

This is the perfect vacation spot for sport fishing, as well as land and water sports. From the private terrace enjoy the breathtaking view of the Sea of Cortez. Golf and tennis are available nearby. Desire Resort & Spa Los Cabos is an attractive property sitting directly on the beach. Strong surf may preclude all but the strongest swimmers on the long, beautiful beach. Located next to the beach, the hotel's medium-sized, rectangular pool includes a swim-up bar.

Set in a secluded, private area, this moderately priced resort offers couples 21 and older a beachside location with a clothing-optional pool, lounge with translucent, open-air shower, and beds shaded by palapas for sunbathing. A fitness center, sauna, and steam room are on site. Day and evening entertainment programs are also offered.

San Jose Estuary, a famous bird sanctuary and Los Cabos's only freshwater body, lies two km (about one mile) north and can be reached by walking along the beach.

**Tentazione - This venue serves snacks and grilled specialties during the day. For dinner, it serves Italian cuisine six nights per week from early-evening to late-evening.
**Suki - Asian culinary dishes including sushi, Tepanyaki, and desserts. Dress code is casual-elegant. Reservations not required. Open six nights per week for dinner, early-evening to late-evening.
**Melange Lounge Bar - Offers 24-hour cocktail service and late-night snacks including pizza and baguettes.
**Suki Cocktail Bar - Open daily for pre-dinner cocktails early-evening to late-evening.
**Nude Jacuzzi Lounge Bar - Clothing-optional lounge and bar open daily from mid-afternoon past midnight.
