Welchman Hall Gully is one of the hidden treasures of the island. Hiking into this unspoiled tropical forest gives you the chance to step back in time 300 years, seeing the island as it once was. Another treasure concealed in the central uplands is Harrison's Cave. It seems as though you've entered a different world in this natural wonder of crystallized limestone. And no visit to the island is complete without a tour of the Mount Gay Rum distillery, a cultural icon on Barbados and considered to be the world's first.

Crystal Cove Hotel All-Inclusive is located at Appleby, St James, on the west coast of Barbados, just a 30-minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport, 20 minutes from the cosmopolitan capital of Bridgetown and 10 minutes from the shopping mall in Holetown.

A 75-yard beach, furnished with umbrellas and padded lounge chairs, provides access to the Caribbean Sea and to wood decks built on offshore boulders.

Pools

The resort includes three multi-tiered sparkling freshwater lagoon swimming pools, which connect at the waterfall above the Cave Bar. The Cave Bar offers both walk-up and swim-up service.

Water activities

A wide range of complimentary watersports, including sailing, boogie boarding, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, banana-boat rides, tube rides and water-skiing are available.

Wedding Services

Event planners available to help you choose between a church wedding, a romantic beach wedding or a more non-traditional venue. Decorations, transportation and many more details will also be coordinated.

Since Barbados recently adopted new laws eliminating advance-notice requirements to marry, you can now marry on the day of your arrival. In Barbados, laws allow an official marriage ceremony to take place as soon as a license is obtained. This process eliminates waiting periods and facilitates a no-hassles wedding experience.

Child Care

Children between the ages of 3-11 are well-catered for at a professionally run Tommy Turtle Kids Club, featuring video games, crafts, guided walks and activities. The Kids Club is usually open from 9am-9pm during the peak season, but may change its hours to 10:30am-7pm during the off season, or if there are fewer children in attendance.

Golf

Crystal Cove has a preferred tee-time agreement with Royal Westmoreland Golf Course and Country Club, though access to the course is not part of the all inclusive plan.
