My 1st negative review on a resort!
I will start by saying we traveled here for my birthday 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 15, the week of 05/06/12-05/10/12. Upon arrival they checked us in under someone else even after providing our reservation documents, I had to bring it to their attention because I read before I sign. I asked if we had the room we requested they said yes. We got to the room it was awful! It was falling apart, by far the worst room I have ever been in. We travel alot and have been to many places. We immediately went to the front desk they seem to care less. One of the front desk mgrs Carlos should not be in mgmt and the resort mgr enrique never left his office when he was there.. to speak to any guest, and there were more people unsatisfied at the desk also. We decided to leave and change resorts we called cheap carribean. All of a sudden Nancy at the front desk was willing to help. Now we have a decent room. The resort was nice, clean lots of pools. The activities, pool and program staff were really nice and seemed to work really hard. Monica and suzy in guest services were awesome they sign you up for timeshare appts, go figure! My 15yr son liked the gameroom at night and he said "the staff was great!," other than that he was not really thrilled in the daytime. My 6yr daughter loved it! CP did not have a good variety of food, what they did have was bland and the hot food was cold no matter what time we got there, I even asked for a microwave which they did not have. The shows were good, the actors and actresses worked really hard, alot of butt shaking for families I thought. It was not enough for me to spend our hard earned money to be treated how we were. We have experienced better. Will not return.
The resort is absolutely beautiful!! Everyone working there has a smile on their face and are willing to help you at any time. Most speak good english. There are 5 speciality restaurants on premise, we tried 2, the italian and the steak house. We really loved the steak house but did not care for the italian. The food selection was not great in the italian restaurant. The pools are great, there is even an adult pool secluded away from the others. I think you should pay the extra and get the ocean view suite with the hot tub. The room comes with a purple band instead of a pink band, The band entitles you to a separate breakfast bar and free internet and evening snacks and alcoholic drinks without the long lines. We would go back again!!!! the only draw back is to stay from the time share people.

Second Time to Crown Paradise
My 3 boys ages 11, 10, 5 pick this trip over Disneyland anyday. This is a perfect resort for families. Very Safe. Very organized - the kids club is awesome! Planned activities all day long. Easter activities with an Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday was a nice suprise! Will go again and again!
Travelling with a 1 and 3 year-old is not always easy, but this resort made it easy to have a fantastic family holiday. We were amazed by the service of everybody in the hotel - except for the receptionists who are the only people at the hotel who do not give everything to make you feel in paradise. But you don't deal with them often :-) You come here to get out of your world, so I did not care that there is no internet in the room, you do not want to find yourself working :-) The kids had a great time, and we could even escape with my husband to have a romantic dinner, or once to dance at the hotel disco, as the baby sitter service is really good. The kids have a wonderful time, food is great and it is never boring to be at the hotel. The only thing I kind of disliked is that when the weather is windy there is nowhere to escape but your room - wind can get to any open corner of the hotel... but well, let's hope for better weather when we come back again...

Are diet soft drinks part of the all inclusive? And can they be got at the pools and through out the resort?9 answers
8 months ago
Callie
Usually both regular and diet sodas are included in the all inclusive. As it is outside the US, specific sodas may not always be as readily available as they are in the US, therefore selections may change from time to time, as may the availability in certain areas of the resort at any given time.
KristinCC
Yes, everything is included in the all inclusive including all soft drinks. They have two bars by all of the pools that have all soft drinks, diet and regular.
MrsKappy
Yes. They are available throughout the resort. Free just like all the food and liquor. Two bars by the pool to get them from as well.

The property has its own water treatment/filtration system, however, as with any destination-I would suggest drinking bottled water.

Hotel Description
Caribbean Nightlife for Your Family
With seven bars, a disco, evening shows and kids' clubs for babies to teens, it's no surprise that Crown Paradise Club Cancun is listed in the "Top 10 for Families in Latin America and the Caribbean" by TripAdvisor. Families love this all inclusive resort that specializes in nightly entertainment.
Unlike other resorts that have one basic kids' club, Crown Paradise Cancun breaks down the fun by age group. For the youngest, Baby Paradise has an air-conditioned clubhouse and cushioned playground. (Don't worry - the staff can locate you by pager any time your little one needs you.) At Kids' Paradise, 4- to 12-year olds sail the seven seas on a pirate's ship complete with water chutes, slides and water cannons.
Teens have the Teen Paradise club at Crown Paradise Club Cancun, where they can make new friends over a game of ping-pong or soccer. Teens' fun really starts, though, in the evening, when Nitro Club opens. They can dance the night away, while sipping non-alcoholic drinks at the moon party. They can also play electronic games in Jetix.
Meanwhile, knowing that the kids are safe and having fun, parents get to let their hair down at Trafalgars Bar, bustin' a move on the dance floor. Admire the ocean view between songs while you "rehydrate" with a cold one. Even better, clock out for some romance by booking the couple's room in the hotel's spa. A little dip in the two-person hot tub makes this trip feel like a second honeymoon.
When it's feedin' time, Crown Paradise Cancun's seven restaurants have enough choices for picky eaters and enough food for ravenous teens. Wayne's Boots, the "Old West" steakhouse, is sure to be a hit with its line dancing and mechanical bull. Everyone will need to chow down to stay fueled for the lineup of all inclusive beach activities. Start off with a bike ride along the shore, or get a little more adventurous with windsurfing or other water sports. After all, nothing strengthens a family's bond like that first attempt at sailing.
