Located in the tourist development of Juan Dolio, the rose-colored resort offers 588 guestrooms in four buildings of four, five, and six stories with elevators. Rooms all have balconies or patios, air-conditioning, cable TV, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron with ironing board, telephone, and are decorated with dark-wood furniture, tropical prints, and tile floors.
The hotel was renovated in 2008 and offers a value vacation experience. The Juan Dolio beach is very sandy, and offers plenty of areas for some good snorkeling, and there are palm trees scattered around for shade. There are plenty of activities for the family and even a game room where the teenagers can hang out. Golf is not included, but the Guavaberry Golf and Country club is close by, and tee times can be purchased through the concierge. Hotel has just completed a Spa, and it looks really good. The hotel offers an affordable all inclusive experience.

The wide range of activities make it appealing for couples and families. It's also an excellent base from which to explore the historic interests that can be found in Santo Domingo. Not a luxury hotel, but the price point reflects that !
