Nestled among swaying palms in an 85-acre enclave, Coconut Bay Resort St. Lucia is really two hotels in one. One wing, called Harmony, is reserved for couples and romance. Splash is the lighthearted name for the other, which is devoted to families and home to Cocoland, St. Lucia's largest water park. All guests are treated like royalty in this all inclusive resort featuring one mile of gorgeous beach and three pools at the southern end of St Lucia.

Best vacation
We went to Coconut Bay Resort and Spa with our friends. Best vacation! Gorgeous island, nice, hospital people. We fell in love with st. Lucia. Thanks to the cheapcaribbean for these vacation
The trip was great! Coconut Bay was a nice place for the money. It was in a great location, only a few minutes from the airport.The staff was wonderful and very attentive. There were only two things that I would consider a problem or lacking.
The first is the beach itself; it was full of seaweed. The hotel staff cleans the beach in the morning but by evening it's all back. It's not the hotel's fault; they do what they can. Just something you have to deal with.
The second is something I consider the hotel lacking. When I travel I like to experience what the locals eat. However, most of the food selections are very American. Just a personal preference.
I had a great time and would go back!
We chose Coconut Bay because of its location and value.It is only 5 minutes from the airport.The open air lobby with nice furniture and lovely sea breezes was a great place to hand after dinner for the nightly entertainment.The food at the beach grill was standard "fast food " but good. The buffet was well stocked and had a large variety. We only ate at the Italian Reservations only restaurant(twice) and it was very good.
The pool are is large with waterfalls, swim up drinks,lots of chairs,lazy river, and 2 fun waterslides. There were alot of families with children.The pool area is so nice we actually had a resort day to enjoy it(we usually are gone all day visiting the beaches)
The ocean has alot of seaweed that washes up...alot!!! They use a front end loader 2 times a day to remove what has washed up on the beach. It is not slimy or smelly...just there. If you are looking to only stay at the resort and want the Carribean Sea experience then this is not a good beach for that. We always rent a car on holiday and go to as many beaches as we can. Driving on the island is not for the leary..but we found it extremely beautiful.
Service is great, very friendly and accomodating.I loved St, Lucia and Coconut Bay!!!!
Coconut Bay was a fantastic vacation. We were very pleased with the accomodations, but the friendly employees and the locals made for a very memorable vacation. I would absolutly recomend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

The exceptionally spacious rooms with their separate sitting areas make this hotel a great choice for families. Each of the resort's 254 guestrooms provide an oceanview and feature either a king size bed or two queen size beds; separate sitting area, satellite TV, direct dial phone, in-room safe, iron with ironing board, hair dyer, and private balconies."
With 85 acres, awesome views, its own hiking trails and a wonderful water park, this all-inclusive resort is unique. What really makes you feel special, though, is the friendly, attentive staff.
What We'd Change
Coconut Bay Resort and Spa is so popular that during peak season it can be very busy. Don't fret, just take a break in the adults-only pool which is always serene!
Why You Should Go
You can't find a better hotel for families than this one; the waterpark alone makes this resort stand out, and your kids will absolutely love the two waterslides.

Four restaurants are ready to assuage your hunger after a full day of fun. Rattan chairs and Chinese lanterns add an Oriental note to Silk, where you might choose fish in black-bean sauce for your main course, followed by sticky-rice pudding. When you hanker for the flavors of Caribbean cuisine, Calabash has the best jerk entrees to put the kibosh on hunger.
About a mile away visit the 17th-century French Vieux Fort, and a little farther to the south, the Vieux Fort Lighthouse. Take a short drive up the western side of the island to the widely acclaimed Diamond Falls. Then retreat to a comfortable room to get ready to do it all again tomorrow.

Located on the south side of the island, approximately 10 minutes from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF). George F.L. Charles Airport (SLU) is approximately one hour north of Coconut Bay. The hotel is located 1/2 mile from Maria Island National Reserve, 10 miles (16 km) from Mamiku Botanical Gardens and 25 miles from Diamond Baths and Botanical Gardens.
Airport transfers to and from St. Lucia's Hewanorra International Airport are included.

Caribbean Night:
On Saturday nights, a band plays original Caribbean sounds as the resort's chefs serve up tropical dishes. Caribbean Night turns into a classic street party where guests dance the night away with impressive acrobatics, a fire-breathing show, dancers and handicrafts.
Country Western Casino Night:
A country band performs during a poolside BBQ. A charity casino, benefiting a nearby school for special needs students, awaits with games of poker, blackjack, roulette, dice and a Caribbean bottle game. The evening ends in Caribbean style as participants bet their remaining chips on a crab race and use their winnings to bid on auction items ranging from bottles of rum to local fashions.

Coco Kidz offers supervised games, arts and crafts, a water playground, pirate ship, video games and air-conditioned napping quarters.
In addition, children will also have the chance to play with Coco & Loco, Coconut Bay's signature characters, during their stay.

Preteens will use the waterslides, and participate in a program incorporating physical and educational challenges, island awareness and exploration, eco-activities and hikes over some of the property's 85 acres. The Zone Paintball:
A favorite adventure for adults and kids alike at Coconut Bay is "The Zone," which is the first paintball facility of its kind in the Caribbean. Teams of five can hide behind barriers as they attempt to capture the flag and avoid neon paintballs fired opponents.
