Fabulous Honeymoon!
We just got home from staying at the Caribe Hilton May 1-6th for our honeymoon. We loved it! Every single staffer was super nice to us. I had an international block on my checking account that I didn't know my bank routinly did and it caused me problems at check in. All the ladies at the desk were super nice and patient as I got it taken care of. Our housekeeper Victor (Vin Diesel look-alike lol) gave us great ideas of what to see and how to get there. Danny at the Concierge Desk recommended a great place to eat in Old San Juan called Toro Salao. The food was fantastic! Our king sized bed slept great and had more pillows than we needed. Our room was very spacious, clean, had a very nice flat screen tv, and was well stocked with coffee and bath items. We had a refrigerator and a double single-serving coffee maker and we requested a microwave that was brought up immediately free of charge. The large tiled shower with a glass front was beautiful. Even though our balcony was over the restaurant roof we still had a great view of the fountain garden below and a great beach view looking east. There is a Subway and a mom & pop restaurant across the street that have good food. We didn't eat onsite very much bc it is the Hilton and the food is EXPENSIVE! We paid $23.75 plus tax & tip for breakfast buffet that was average w/ an omelet station, self-serve eggs (mediocre), pancakes, french toast, bagel toasting, and fruit bar w/ cereal and juice. The Morton's Steakhouse on site is even more expensive w/ the smallest steak being $48! We skipped that one. The lobby bar is hopping on weekends though and serve food late! The pool is beautiful and has a swim-up bar in it. The beach is man made due to the rocky nature of that area of the island but really is a nice swimming lagoon w/ lounging BEDS and plenty of chairs and umbrellas for free. The grounds are beautifully manicured with gorgeous plants everywhere. We really enjoyed walking around in the evenings. We were greeted eagerly and very friendly by all of the staff we encountered. We had a great time there and just really enjoyed a great honeymoon at an UNBELIEVABLY affordable price. Our entire package price with airfair from our small hometown airport was cheaper than just the cost of the hotel bill would have been BEFORE TAXES! Thanks Cheap Carribean for a dream honeymoon! Its my second wonderful trip using your company.
My GF and I really enjoyed our stay. We played tennis and enjoyed the pools and the private beach area. Dinning wasn't great but the restaurants in the downtown area weren't that far away and prices were not bad at all. The service at the hotel was pretty good as all the staff was really helpful. We enjoyed a great fashion show at the private beach as well. They also have a nice small and private wild life area in the back of the hotels with Peacocks, swans, lizards and the water is stocked with large gold fish. A very peaceful area for your viewing pleasure. Kudos to the Hilton for this great trip.

Loved it!!!!!!!!!!
Our trip to San Jaun was amazing. We loved the hotel and the beautiful city of San Jaun. People were friendly, so much to do. We went for 5 days, next time i think we will stay a little longer. San Jaun had a great 10 peice band playing in the San Jaun plaza. Everybody was dancing and having a great time.Bueatiful town with beautiful people, beautiful senary. I loved it! The Caribe Hilton San Jaun was a great hotel. the pools, the beach, the lounge chairs, and our room was stunning! our bed in our room was so confortable. Our room over looked the man made rain forest, so we keep our slide door cracked a little bit to let the sounds from the water and birds in while we slept, sooooooo peaceful. I guess the downfall was (which didn't effect us much, CAUSE WE WERE ON VACATION) it's a bit pricey. Overall CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife and i went for six nights in may '11 and had a wonderful time. The Caribe Hilton had a beautiful private beach and immaculate grounds. The food was stellar, if not pricey...but hey, it's vacation. We were able to walk to some other cheaper dining options and play some roulette at a nearby casino, the area seemed safe enough...we really only encountered a million people out for a night run. Morton steakhouse was very good, but expensive...but like i said, whatever....it's vacation. Was not impressed by the Asian fusion restaurant....but thats just me. Would highly recommend the Spanish fort tour. All in all, just what i needed, a relaxing week on the beach with Pina coladas and Mojitos.

try the Caribe Hilton or the Conrad - we could see the cruise terminal from the balcony of the Caribe Hilton. The Conrad is across a small bay.

This resort is an EP hotel, which means that drinks and meals are not included in the package pricing. This is the case with all hotels in Puerto Rico, as there are no all-inclusives on the island.
KristinCC
no, it is not. however, the food costs can be kept to a minimum by dining out of the hotel.there was a great cuban place like a half mile away near the casinos.
mattanderin
no, bring your wallet

No, all-inclusive just about doesn't exist at an American hotel or resort.
