Habitat was founded by Captain Don Stewart 20 years ago and set up as a refuge or 'habitat' for serious divers. The Habitat dive operation is not only a PADI 5-star training facility, NAUI dream destination, SSI referral, and PADI instructor development center, but offers over 20 diving specialty courses. All needed dive equipment is available for rental and sale. Our resident photo pros provide guests with a complete selection of photographic and video instruction, equipment rental and processing services. A separate boat for photographers is available for more comprehensive instruction. Habitat is neither pretentious nor regimented. The expert dive staff is there not to dictate but to assist, teach, and advise those serious about diving. A great way to end a day of diving is to indulge yourself with a massage while overlooking the ocean and Klein Bonaire at sunset in their outdoor massage cabana in the pool area.

Evening events include a weekly rum punch party, Tex-Mex night, local and imported entertainment, and the island's best barbecue. **Pizza Temple - Authentic Italian thin crust pizza baked to perfection in a traditional stone oven. Choose from a wide assortment of toppings, create your own or try one of the chef's creation. Great for that in between dive craving or take away for the perfect mid-night snack. Decompression Stop Bar - Serving your favorite tropical drinks in a casual atmosphere. Open Wed.-Sun, 4 p.m.- Midnight. Happy Hour is from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm; on Thursday you can catch live music followed by a Mexican Buffet. Between-meal snacks are also available from the bar, including drinks, cappucino, or a nightcap.
