Three pool decks lie above the bay. The upper features a 23-by-6m (75-by-20-ft) pool with a children's section. Middle and lower decks offer 23m-long (75-ft-long) freeform pools joined by waterfalls. From the lower deck, a 7.5m (25-ft) staircase leads to a private, 46-by-28m (50-by-30-yd) beach flanked by boulders and lapped by calm, transparent water. Sand terraces above the bay and pools' sundecks offer striped umbrellas and cushioned lounge chairs.
A two-level, open-air, marble-floor lobby frames a view of Puerto Marquez Bay and features a lobby bar on the lower level offering cushioned rattan seating next to gentle rock waterfalls and live piano music. Dolphins often can be seen frolicking in the bay and sunsets are in view. A large health and beauty spa offers massages, hydrotherapy, body scrubs and wraps, and facials. The open-air terrace facing the bay is a great spot for evening cocktails. LA VELA - This is a causal and stylish outdoor seafood grill overlooking the water. Reminiscent of a sailboat on the high seas, and situated at the edge of the bay, it offers a wide variety of seafood. POOL BAR - Two-level, open-air spot serving snacks and tropical drinks. 156 roomy guestrooms in nine five-story yellow buildings with green-tile roofs terraced into a steep, green hillside sloping down to a private beach and massive boulders on the northeast shore of Puerto Marques Bay.
