Loved it!!

My son and I went to breezes for 8 nights. We had a patio room near the bar and centrally located. Best location ever! All staff was very friendly and knew our names after the first day. Security was excellent. We went for a walk on the beach at night and he waited for us to get back even though it was past his shift time! Food and restaurants were abundant and decent. Ocean and beach were spectacular. Definitely will be back!

Ended summer with a bang at Breezes!

Can't find too much bad to say really. Great location, super beach. Might be a bit isolated for those looking for local shopping or nightlife - buses (all cheap and excellent) quit running at 7:00 PM - so....difficult to walk to anything else beyond the resort - catch a taxi! Food was excellent - ready to go on time every time. Saturday night was Bahamian food night so I loaded up. Very nice, clean pool - big. We look forward to going back - we considered it high bang for the buck! Kids.....25 and 21.....mostly entertained - might rethink the nightlife/young life for them next time. Perfect for anyone over 40, especially couples. Lots of evening entertainment. We'll stay at Breezes again for sure!!!!!

Sadly Mediocre

Usually travel two or three times a year, always with low expectations. Truly wanting to experience new area and dive new locations with the accommodations being something that just need to be adequate so I / we have a safe clean place home base to return to for relaxing from activities. This was a girls trip, Mom, myself and my adult daughter, so I had actually mistakenly hoped this might be a bit more comfortable for my mother since we would be sort of dumping her while we when diving ( the diving was pretty good ). The staff I believe tried to be helpful and was friendly, but the service was slow in some cases. But some of the rules where just plan crazy at one of the restaurants I wanted a soup and salad and I was told I could only chose one or the other, overall the family consensus was that we had one good meal and that the food overall was just bad. Also if you lose or damage your wrist band It is a $200 fee to replace ( I wear my dive knife on my wrist ). And at the end of this adventure I am writing my first cheapcaribbean review and cherishing the fact that all the other six or so locations I have stayed at where far superior with similar ratings.

Okay for the price

The photos posted on the site are deceiving and the hotel rooms are outdated, beds are not great and I can pretty much sleep on anything. The hallways have a musty smell and I'm not one to ever write a poor review. With that said, for the price paid the resort was definitely fair considering other 5 night places were double the price. The lobby, beach and pool area were nice- beach right next to the pool. Beautiful sunsets, clean beach, teal blue water. Towels always available, cabanas for an extra fee with beach bar service. They were painting a pool top deck while there. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was great, fresh fruit, waffles iron, egg omelet station, huge spread, lunch was ok at the buffet with a big spread, tons of desserts available and dinner options were very poor at the restaurants, menu not great, long wait. One only open two days a week. It was all inclusive drinks (alcohol, beer, soda, teas, etc) and snack buffet was always pretty much available. We didn't leave the resort for 5 days and was pretty comfortable hanging pool/beach side. Fun MC/DJ and entertainment with games throughout the day! Little gift shop to get anything you need. Huge hotel and casino next door that we did not go to but it's available to visit and there are a lot of local exercisions you can sign up for downstairs as well. Pool tables available and night life entertainment. One night they had the dinner buffet set up outside and they did a really nice job with that- it may be done weekly. If you want an average relaxing place without spending more than $3000 not bad :-). The Majestic transportation was friendly and on time!

Hotel Description

Breezes Bahamas: Cable Beach, Circus Fun and Climbing Wall

If Caribbean breezes are calling your name, answer them at Breezes Bahamas, a resort with Bahamian charm, three pools, a famous beach and an awesome circus trapeze that brings a touch of the unexpected to paradise.

This Breezes resort in the Bahamas is a Nassau gem thanks to Cable Beach, where the sugar-white sand and calm, azure waters satisfy your inner beach bum. Pull up a chaise lounge, take a deep breath and let the waves erase your cares. When you need a break from tanning, slip into one of three beautiful pools or a bubbling Jacuzzi. Between the main area, misting pool and "Sip and Dip" pool, there's one that suits your style.

Dinner keeps your taste buds partying when you choose the outside tables at Garden of Eden. Dig into an Adam's Rib or Eve's Secret to find a bit of themed culinary heaven. For lighter fare, the Main Dining Room features a casual buffet while the Pool Grill offers snacks under the palms.

Looking for high octane activity? Sign up for free windsurfing lessons or test your skills on the 30-foot climbing tower. There's also kayaking, sailing, tennis and basketball. For three-ring fun, take advantage of the free lessons at the resort's circus trapeze. Or, if activity after dark sounds fun, keep on swinging at the resort. Order a martini at the Piano Bar, or head to Hurricane Disco, where on Wednesdays the smell of roast pig and the beat of steel drums lure you to an unplugged evening of Caribbean fun. On Tuesdays, make sure you bring your best jammies, because the disco features a rockin' Pajama Party.

Breezes Bahamas makes a great base for exploring Nassau. Start with a close-up look at sharks and manta rays at The Atlantis Aquarium. Or go for a hike at the Queens Staircase, where the lush gardens and limestone stairs take you back to the 18th century. For the treasure hunter, Nassau's duty-free shops offer one-of-a-kind cultural crafts.

This hotel is All-Inclusive.
