Strolling across the Mangrove Bridge, you're inspired by the stunning beauty of this little ecological preserve right in the midst of the resort. At Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort, Spa & Casino in Punta Cana treats guests to accommodations scattered throughout the immaculate grounds. Only about an eighth of the suites are in the main building. The result is the best of two worlds--the amenities of an all inclusive resort and the charm of a boutique resort.

So-so....
Service was predominately friendly and helpful. Rooms (we tried 2) were outdated. The first room the toilet did not fill, very weak water pressure in shower and television and AC were on brink but the main reason for the move was were given 2 single beds after requesting a king, not what we were hoping for on a romantic get away. They attempted to push the beds together to make it look like a king bed!!! Our rep from Cheap Caribbean managed to get us moved to the room next door with a king bed the second day, however, it had not been cleaned yet upon our transfer and the prior occupants smoked so it STUNK & there were cigarette butts in ashtrays. We were assured that the room would be cleaned and "freshened" ...well upon returning to the room from an afternoon at the beach the cleaning staff was leaving with a can of Glade, yet the room was never cleaned and the ashtrays were still full!!!! Not impressed. Another day we were not given any hand towels, and the final day there was not a top sheet on the bed so upon returning to the room to sleep I had to call and ask for a top sheet twice before one was finally brought. The hand/body bar soaps were never replenished. Food was not impressive but I am not a buffet person. All that said....The wait staff was excellent and very friendly and the beach was perfect. Will return to DR, will use CC again but highly unlikely to return to Bavaro Princess.....

When we first arrived (3 couples) two couples were in the same building and my cousin and I were not. We had somewhat of a difficult time trying to get our room changed to be in the same building but finally did. In the future all couples traveling should be together especially since my cousin and I were females and the other 4 people were actually couples.
Wound up in the Bavaro Hospiten for 2-1/2 days where it was difficult to communicate with the nurses because I did not speak Spanish. Upon release on Thurs, my cousin and wife, wound up in the same hospital and could not return to the US on Fri. So ... we could not use the bus transfer to the airport but had to turn in our travel voucher because we had to go to the Hospiten to retrieve some keys. Should receive credit for future travel vouchers.
Did not contact Cheap Caribbean but understand from my cousin that they arrived at the Hospitel on Sat and were very, very helpful in getting them a flight and transportation. So kudos to your rep at the Bavaro Princess.
Should include availability of medical insurance on trips because foreign countries do not accept medical cards and it was very, very expensive. In addition to losing 3 days of my 6 day vacation it was very costly, indeed. Do not think I will venture out of the USA for quite a while.
This was our 2nd stay at the Bavarro Princess. As a handicapped traveler, they made certain I was on the first floor. Our only problems were with our room. The air conditioning was on one setting 19 C. It was freezing. The thermostat did not work - We reported the problem 3 times and they immediately sent someone out, but the lack of communication English/Spanish made it difficult to tell the repairman what was wrong. Needless to say we slept with extra blankets and would at times, leave the air conditioning off. Our toilet was also broken and would run constantly. After their failure to repair it, my husband would stop it from running each time we used it.
Last year the dining was by reservation, which we preferred. This year you went to the restaurant of your choice and waited up to an hour to be seated.
Other than the above, the vacation was AMAZING. We staryed 10 days - Next year two weeks!!!!
