Barcello Los Cabos
This was our second stay at this resort. Overall is it a good value for your money. The rooms are very nice, the staff is friendly and helpful.
We only have 2 complaints:
1) Drinks are watered down, but this happens at a lot of the all inclusive hotels.
2) Having to make reservations for dinner at the restaurants. We have stayed in other all inclusives that did not require this and it was wonderful!!
When they tell you the restaurant is booked and you walk by to see at least 50% of the tables are empty, it will really aggravate you.
Overall we had an excellent time at the Barcelo celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The rooms were huge with fist class amenities. The food from the buffet to the restaurants was fabulous. The entire staff treated us as family our entire stay. We will most definitely be returning next year and have been spreading the word to our friends to visit Barcelo.
This was a beautiful resort very close to San Jose the smaller town in the Cabo area. It is about a 20 minute cab ride into Cabo San Lucas. We enjoyed a swim up suite which was very spacious & comfortable and beautifully appointed. The technology was excellent as well. Its a smart room with PC functions for lights, curtains and a sleep program. The highlight was walking out on the patio, 2 chaise lounges and a few steps into a private lagoon pool. The spa services were excellent and if you book Club Premium you get a 20% discount on spa, free internet, priority booking of restaurants and access to a VIP lounge area with food and top shelf drinks. All in all an excellent value and beautiful resort.
Beautiful facility. Surf is too rough for swimming. Food was well prepared but service was slow in sit down restaurants. Buffet worked better with teenagers. Club Premium service was terrible. The front desk was quicker and more helpful, The only advantage was the room amenities and the buffet in the Club room.

I am looking to book a vacation package in January 2012, when will the sales be up for your destinations? Are the prices similar to the sales you guys offer now or are they less expensive since it is off peak season?

While we have yet to receive our discounted rates for the Barcelo Los Cabos for travel in January 2012, it's possible we'll be receiving them soon. Have you checked out our properties in Riviera Maya? We have some incredible deals for travel in January. Hotel rooms fill up quickly for that timeframe as it's the beginning of high season, so keep checking our site periodically for these new rates!
