Great! Cheap!
I've been here twice now to the same resort. it's the best you can get for your bucks! (4nights in April for $750 and same price for 7nights in June).
April was perfect weather; June was slightly a different story as I got stuck in a storm for 3 out of the 7 days.
The resort is nice, it's a nice stroll to walk around the premises. The pools are spread throughout, two of which has a swim up bar. The bartenders' services are great, make friends with them.
Food is decent. Buffet with enough options to choose from. Also several locations to eat, which is nice. Be sure to make reservations for Las Olas Grill (included in All-inclusive) and the French Restaurant (not included as All-Inclusive). There are performances every night, along with a different "ice breaker" every night (where audience members are brought on stage).
Yes, there are vendors on the beach who will try to sell you paintings, sculptures, necklaces, massages, braiding, etc. Be sure to check out the paintings and wooden sculptures, they make great authentic gifts.
Overall, good experience here.
