The hotel opened in mid 2008, so everything about it is brand new. The rooms are spacious, and it sits on a great stretch of Maxwell Beach. There are a nice selection of restaurants and bars to chose from. You can walk from the property into the Gap area if you want to try some restaurants.
This is one of three Almond resorts in Barados. This property caters to both couples and families, although I think that Adults will prefer the Casuarina. The main pool is right by the beach, with a great pool bar. There is also a second chill out pool that is more laid back than the main pool.
Almond Casuarina Beach Resort is located in the parish of Christ Church on the south coast of the island, adjacent to the St. Lawrence gap. The elegant 289 room apartment-style hotel is set among eight acres of abundant tropical flora of vivid beauty. The gardens are met by the soft coral sands of a 1500 foot stretch of Dover beach and the brilliant blues of an inviting Caribbean sea.
