Great resort

I miss this place so much! It is beautiful and the Barbadians are lovely! They are so kind and helpful. The food is good, the hotel rooms are adorable, and it is a very clean place. I recommend you go snorkeling. It is included with an all-inclusive package. Go to the Fish Fry, too. It's extra, but it's very cool. There wasn't much water coming out of the sink in our hotel room at the beginning of our stay, but if you ask maintenance to fix it, they will. They fixed ours and the water pressure was great afterwards. The shower was alright. Maybe it was just our room. Other than that, this resort is wonderful! I love this place and Barbados is awesome. Almond Beach Resort is a great place to stay at in Barbados. I'd recommend it to anyone!

overall happy with place

somewhat low key resort with nice free extra curricular activities (turtle watch, bus tour). good meals, nice restaurants, good snorkeling right at beach. most of staff was great, friendly and helpful. Some staff were not friendly, but these were the exception. night time entertainment was good, a little hot and cold talent wise. Overall very happy with our stay

Time of our lives!

My husband and I booked this trip to get away from the stress for a while. This resort has the best views you will ever see, picture perfect! There is so much to do, sadly we didn't not get to do much because of the unpredictable weather. We were unable to see the reefs on the bottomless boat nor snorkel with the turtles. It was a big disappointment went we were not told about the cancellations, we found out when it was time for our events. The food was good, there's a lot of variety. The drinks were also amazing, even though it seemed like the poured half the bottle into them. Over all it was a wonderful experience!

The staff was super friendly, and the resort is lovely, but needs a facelift. The adult pool is only 4feet and does not offer a nearby pool. The bed was comfortable, but they do not have a full size bed option: King or twin size. The twin size should not even be an option at a resort because an adult can barely fit in a twin size bed. We had to request a king size bed. Food and drinks are included, but all the meals are on a set schedule, therefore, if you need a snack in-between you have no options available. Bartenders are the life of the resort. There is no entertainment and the music that is played is horrible: Lionel Richie, Barry Manilow. There was no reggae or music that would make you think you are in the Caribbean. Totally recommend the amenities they provide for free especially the Jungle Tour and its for free. Overall it was okay because we were surrounded by a beautiful beach, great bartenders, company, but the resort needs to create and make changes for guests to want to return.
