This is one of the best bargains in Barbados. Until recently, work has been on going on creating a boardwalk and beach area in front of the property. It has finally been completed, and the beach looks great. So now, this value priced property can saw it truly is beach front. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but definitely not luxurious.

I think this is suitable for families and couples. There is not a ton of activities, but with the beach and pool, time just flies away. Definitely a value priced hotel, but it's clean and very well run. It gives you a good base from which to explore Barbados.

Located directly on a newly created beach, 4 km (2.5 miles) south of Bridgetown, this hotel is set on the south coast of Barbados. 2 minute walk via shoreline to popular beach. Built around a pool terrace, the U-shaped complex overlooks the sea and a wooden boardwalk that stretches the length of the property. Some of the island's best swimming is at the world-famous Rockley Beach, known to the locals as Accra Beach, just a four-minute stroll away.
For the first time in its history, guests of the Allamanda Beach Hotel now have beach and boardwalk access directly from the hotel. The beach and boardwalk project, which started in 2007, is now fully completed in front of the Allamanda and guests can access the beach through a new gate on the Allamanda boardwalk.
