My husband and I vacationed at Wyndham Dominicus Palace in La Romana, Dominican Republic this past April. The site was exactly as indicated and the prictures were true representations of the resort. We had a wonderful tiem trying out the different restaurants and pools.The resort was couples friendly as well as family friendly and even though it was a large resort, my husabnd and I felt as though we were alone.Very nice place. The resort has loads of activities for couples and families. There is a great spa, and the property features the Viva Wyndham's signature kid's club, offering daily and nightly activities. The hotel is set on an amazing white powder beach and the fact that you can visit and eat at the sister property next door, Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach is a nice plus. Be sure to check out the trapeze show on the beach at the sister hotel next door. It's amazing!

If you want an excellent white powder beach with lots of activities for the family and the small kids, you should definitely take a look. The kids club gets some good reviews. If you have never taken a trapeze lesson, and that's high on your list to do, then walk down the beach to the sister hotel, the Viva Wyndham Dominicus beach. The Trapeze act is amazing! They offer lessons for adults in the afternoon (kids in the morning). The entire trapeze team speaks English and they are super professional.
