RSolaris This is a great resort for couples and families alike. The adult only pool offers a quiet place to curl up in the sun with a good book, while the main pool has a number of lively activites and music to keep you entertained. The waterpark for the kids, complete with waterslide, is adjacent to the kids club for all the little ones need as well as a game room for teenagers. The beach isn't swimmable here but is wide and long...great for walking and the location, very close to the quaint town of San Jose del Cabo, is convenient for browsing the local shops. The hotel is a little far from the nightlife of Cabo San Lucas however the town of San Jose del Cabo offer some great places to explore and discover as well a a little of it's own nightlife. Royal Solaris Los Cabos Resort & Spa offers great quality vacations for couples and families with an abundance of activities to fit everyones needs. Our vacation booked through CheapCarribean was wonderful! My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience! We visited San Jose Los Cabos on our Honeymoon and were very pleased with our all-inclusive package at Royal Solaris Los Cabos Resort & Spa. Our first impression of the resort was how beautiful and clean it was. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and willing to help us with any requests. We had been warned that many pools in the area are salt-water and were very pleased to find that at Royal Solaris the pools were all fresh-water. The food was good and we found that we had enough options to offer variety. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! We had great weather--sunshine and 80-90 degrees everday with cooler nights. While the beach was a no-swim beach, we had plenty of options by the huge main pool and the smaller adult pool with gorgeous views of the ocean. Our room was very nice and we loved the huge balcony. We were surprised to find lounge chairs waiting for us there--a quiet option away from the busier pool atmosphere. We were also surprised at how easy it was to get around off the resort. Cabs, buses, and shuttles left frequently right from our Hotel lobby and were easy to find in town to get back to the resort. I was a little hesitant to book this vacation for two reasons--1) Royal Solaris was listed as a family-friendly resort and, being our honeymoon I did not want to be bombarded by screaming chldren; and 2) Royal Solaris has a timeshare option and we had been warned that many of these types of resorts are extremely pushy wiht sales and will hound you or make you feel like a second rate citizen for the extent of your vacation. I was extremely pleased to find that, while definitely family-friendly, my husband and I were never annoyed by the atmosphere at Royal Solaris. While there were a lot of people at the resort, it never felt packed or overrun with kids. It was also nice to have the option of an adults-only pool. As far as the sales pitch, we definitely got hit with a pitch and a guilt trip when we arrived even though we had been expecting it.
